  1. And that someone had received the BHSE and knew with certainty how are the voltages inside? still
  2. Maybe by rubbing their genre differentiation attributes over the PC monitor? Come on, there's little way they can know which wires/pins carry low voltage or high one by just looking at the amp at a meet

It's just a matter of time, maybe if you live long enough to wear normal HP for 400 years around your brains, the rate of brain tumors or leukemia using ULE phones is 0.00001% lower

Nah, they just want to prove that Ultrasone's ULE "technology" is just plain bullshit.
  5. Thanks for the reply mate. Very helpful, if I finally purchase the MBP that link will be my salvation If the machine is 64 bit capable, maybe it can accept a 64bit Windows version. Anyone tried?
  6. I think some of you installed W7 on a Mac. If so, how it runs? Is it easy making a dual boot install on a Mac? Any additional tools needed? I recall that when Apple moved to Intel processors, having a dual boot required bootcamp or something like that, but I don't know if that's easier nowadays. I'm considering to get a MacBook Pro, the 13" one with 4Gb RAM. They come with Leopard, but I suppose I may get the offer for Snow Leopard. BTW these Macs are 32 or 64 bit machines? It'd be my first Mac, so please excuse my bleeding ignorance
  7. Which is understandable considering I'm far from an English major I must admit that when using analytical, I also take it more for a flaw than a virtue. However, considering Upstateguy used this term to define his next amp, and included the GS1 as an usual suspect, I had to think of it in a positive way.
  8. Well, it all depends on how much negative connotation we apply to "analytical". The B22 isn't analytical in the negative sense of killing music by enhancing unnecessary detail, or adding fake "air" or whatever which shouldn't be there. The B22 just lets pass information without adding much of his own. However, with some headphones -the HD800 come to mind- sound becomes kind of "too much of a good thing", while with other phones sound is more balanced and natural. Is under this perspective that I think that the GR, without being a warm or colored amp, is less "analytical" than the B22. Both are great amps anyway
  9. If the GS-1 sounds anything like the Gilmore Reference I wouldn't say it's "analytical". Just rather "neutral". Probably the B22 is more in the analytical side of things, though not harsh.
  10. Great news Doug, I hope you enjoy your new studies
  11. Not that shitty, I wonder if some of the noises people tell aren't actually part of the album. Something like when the artists add clicks and pops as though it were a vinyl playing. The music is good, I'll be getting the album as soon as it's released.
  12. Porcupine Tree - The incident
  13. Have a great day mate. I hope you're enjoying your vacations too
  14. I'd bluetack the speakers to the stands instead of spiking them. A firm attachment would transmit the speakers' enclosures resonances into the stands, which is you want. Not that spiking is bad, it would get the same results, but damaging the speaker base.
  15. Yep, they're quite good IMHO Just finished Steely Dan - Aja Later Peter Frampton - Frampton comes alive
  16. Happy birthday mate
