You can't see very well the mineral bone on MRI scans, just the live cells, fat, water..., so to see bone fractures, X-Rays (that includes CT) are a better option. However a single projection X-Ray can miss very thin fissures, which is Al's case. They were able to see it because it's on the fibula head, which is rich in bone marrow.

Let me know the outcome. Maybe there's not any lesion, but with some well planned exercises you can overcome the pain and make the whole thing a past issue

I see... IIRC Dan is credited in the album for some engineering work, but the CD doesn't include more info. His tape project must be one of the very few reel to reel available nowadays, probably the only one with present time performers. I don't think he has much of a market

Your comments make those things very appealing, but there's no way I get custom IEMs. I'd only use custom plugs if I went deaf and needed a hearing aid. That hard composite inside my ears isn't comfortable. Furthermore if they wouldn't fit at first trial, the back and forth cost for adjustments would make the overall cost insane. If JH made a universal fit model it'd be a whole another story

Yup, I'm afraid that's the case, however if they want us to keep green, why change something that works well... (it's obvious I'm more of an audio geek than a computer one )

It's an old Radeon 7500 which on XP supports the 100Hz refresh rate so the monitor won't flick at 1152x864. On W7 it just installs generic VGA drivers which won't allow highish refreshing rates, nor my preferred resolution. I've tried to install several different drivers for Ati cards, almost everything I've been able to find, but most of them simply won't get installed. Some seem to go through, but in the last step, they don't install, so W7 keeps the generic VGA. I keep checking Ati site, but they don't seem to be interested in releasing W7 drivers for such an old GPU. I'd rather keep using XP than getting a new GPU for this computer
