Custom IEM's
Yeah, the Image X10's are freakin' tiny, probably about as low profile as you could get.

True Blood
Anybody else watch this. First couple of episodes have been intriguing, with a rather unique premise it's shaping up to be the few new shows worth watching.

PS-1s for sale on the 'Bay
If I had $3000 to spend on a headphone it would probably be a PS-1. I was rather taken with Biggies when I heard his recently.

Welcome -=ChildoftheHorn=-
I don't hate you, in fact I don't really think about you at all so I'm rather ambivalent. The only time I really paid you any heed was when you were blatantly posting MOT posts in various threads over at HF and the only reason that bugs me is because it's not fair to all the other vendors who follow the rules.

Welcome -=ChildoftheHorn=-
Excellent, just what the world needs, cables that shouldn't be bent because "frequent bending can cause harm"

What IEMs should I get?
If you don't really care how they sound then why bother asking just go to your nearest big box store and pick up some cheap piece of crap.

RSA Predator
Heh, I post in stereo now.

RSA Predator
I'm pretty sure they've bypassed and relaxed that rule in recent years. I think it probably still has a lot to do with the headphones are an accessory mentality that most of the high-end mags have.

UE10 vs UE11 ?
Nice Vicki, those look awesome.

Long USB cable for Pico
I thought you meant an adapter not the cable itself. I was thinking of it in terms of the extender plugging on to the end of cable therefore I'd need a standard USB cable for the initial cable, then the extension with mini end but they don't seem to make those.

Long USB cable for Pico
Thanks again for the replies. It does? I don't think I got one with mine.

Long USB cable for Pico
Oh, and another stupid question, what's the connector type for the Pico's USB input called?
-
Long USB cable for Pico
Ohhh, thanks for the link, that might make things even easier. One question though, does it have any detrimental effects on the sound?

Long USB cable for Pico
Thanks guys, 15ft should more than suffice for my needs at this point so if that'll work I'll go looking for one at a decent price shipped to Canadaland.

Long USB cable for Pico
I'd like to get a longer USB cable for my Pico so that I can sit on a couch probably about 10 to 15 feet away from where my computer is. I know I could get a headphone extension cable but I like to be able to control the volume and a longer USB cable would minimize the extra connections an extension would add to the mix. So my questions are, is there a maximum length for USB? If a longer cable is possible does anyone know where to get them in such a length because they're not available round these parts?

What If I Were Looking For a Complementary HP for The 750..?
Congrats Indra! That was rather unexpected. So how much is this Phonitor, I see there is a price list but it's in PDF and I don't have acrobat installed, plus I'm on dialup.

Are you open to using IEM's like the Triple.fi's or SA6's?
-
RS1's?
I heard that exact pair recently with my Pico.

Denon AH-D2000--big disappointment.
Heh, I read my post after and realized it sounded really odd. Can you give me a little more detail in regards to what you like and dislike about them?

In general what's Grawk think of the ESW9's?

Logitech IEMs?
Well to be fair I did say I get it to a degree. I've not had the chance to hear the universal versions of the UE10 and UE11, regardless though, those are not really what I was referring to. Listening to Triple.fi's or E500's I'd put the SA6's and Image X10's in the same league and to me anyway the differences are more preference based than those that would be attributed to multiple drivers. I'm sure in some respects it's easier to cover a full range with multiple drivers but it also introduces other issues with crossovers and such.
-
Logitech IEMs?
I really don't get the whole multiple driver thing, well I do to a degree but it seems like overkill lately. I own Sleek Audio SA6's and just picked up a pair of Klipsch Image X10's, to me both are prime examples of why multiple drivers aren't really necessary and seems a lot more about marketing than truly being about sound.

RS1's?
I recently heard a recabled one briefly with my Pico, I'm not sure if my tastes have changed since I sold my black headband sans serial number version or if it just didn't pair well with the Pico or possibly the recable but to be honest I was rather disappointed.

RS1's?
In the past Grado's bread and butter was in carts so I tend to think their declining sales was mostly due to the emergence of digital and declining turntable sales.

Ipod in the car
My wife and I use a 5G iPod and an older Rio Carbon via their headphone outputs to the line-in of the stereo in our G5, neither have a specific holder so they sit in the cup holder or beneath the emergency brake. We also live on an island that has notoriously bad roads and we've never had a problem with either player skipping or such.
