  1. I'll echo the VTG recommendation and add a recommendation for the Westone 4's.
  2. A belated happy birthday Tyll! Looks like you had an awesome day, I wish there were places like that around here to take a walk.
  3. I think it's possible to use the Westone ES cables which are either the same or very similar to those that come with the JH Audio IEM's. I thought I'd read somewhere that with a bit of filing of the pins they would work with the Triple.Fi's. Alternatively for a bit more money there are the Null Audio Enyo and Lune cables. I have an older Null Audio cable (pre-Enyo) which works fine but is a bit unwieldy when I'm at work so I've taken to using the stock cable which really isn't a whole lot better. I wonder if the quality has gone down since Logitech took over? My pair are fairly early production well, well before Logitech bought them, they've been listened to on almost daily basis at home and work and I also use them when I'm out cutting the lawn or doing house/yard work and I've never had an issue.
  4. X2 JH's customer service seems to be really hit and miss which is sad, they have a good product but more and more they seem to be gaining a reputation of being somewhat difficult to deal with at times.

    Audeze LCD-2

That was my first thought as well.
  6. Sorry for you loss Al, my condolences to you and your family. I haven't had the opportunity to meet you in person, I've only ever seen a few pics of you from meets and whatnot, yet when I opened this thread and saw that picture of your mother I was amazed by the striking resemblance. Even in those last couple of pics her smile is infectious, it must have been wonderful for her to have been surrounded by her family like that.

    Audeze LCD-2

I haven't heard a Dynahi, B22 or M3 but I didn't feel the Dynalo Gilmore Lite I had here was the best pairing with the LCD-2's. Granted the at the time I only had a Pico DAC or the DAC in a friends Headroom Desktop Portable but I preferred the Desktop Portable with either DAC. I've been wanting a leather headband since I bought my pair and think I'd prefer the travel case over the wood case so I'm probably going to buy a Rev. 2 to compare with my Rev. 1's and keep whichever I prefer, if that happens to be the Rev. 1's I'll just swap the headbands and case.
  8. Awesome stuff Smeggy, I've been debating trying a pair now for awhile, might just have to make the jump soon. These are just stunning!
  9. There's the Pure i-20, I don't know anything about it, just saw on FS at the other place for $85.
  10. Some new laid back instrumental goodness Judd Madden - Float
  11. I've not seen that quote on their website, but yeah, even the stuff on their website leaves a bit to be desired. I've even messaged one of the guys that I was dealing with about some blatant mistakes on the website but they've never been fixed. Nonetheless it is a darn good little DAC/Amp for the money.
  12. That was the best video review ever!!! I nearly cried I was laughing so hard.
