The sad remnants of Big Brother and the Holding Company, who are apparently town residents. Their singer doesn't have quite the same presence as the original.

Wait until it hits 110 degrees in the shade! Hottest summer I ever spent was when I worked at the capital during college. And I had to wear a suit to work. 🥵

Korean meatballs from NYT cooking. I added some gochujang to make it spicy. We had a fresh baguette and kimchi pickles so we went for the sandwich option. Good stuff.

Steve is truly a master of marketing and promoting his work, but I thought I would try to get a few shots of this headphone rack that didn't contain his belly or fingers or our messy shop. It is not an easy thing to photograph but here are some shots that give a better flavor of this beautiful piece.

This thread really dropped off the map. I had to replace the heating element in my old Traeger, but it turned out to be quite easy and very cheap on Amazon. I re-christened the smoker with three racks of baby backs.

Hi Shel! Have fun in Colorado and you'll forget that United Airlines screwed you over before you know it. 🙃

Hi Carl! It would be great to see you hanging round this joint a bit again.

The Femmes show was a lot of fun and they were just as rough around the edges as ever. They have never performed their albums start to finish but it worked well. They played Hallowed Ground first and then their self titled first album after a brief intermission. Three songs made up the encore and sent the aged crowd home happy. The giant sax is apparently a Contrabass Saxophone and sounded like a fog horn even compared to the baritone sax that Blaise Garza also played. The other unusual instrument was the Weber kettle bbq that the drummer played.

First night of the Violent Femmes tour. Waiting and admiring a very large sax on stage. On the wall we found a photo of the u2 concert I saw here. Definitely one day my top five rock concerts. So funny to see those fro's on Bono and Adam Clayton.
