I cannot think of another Los Angeles Dodger whose death would move me at all, but this is sad. I had heard he was ill because he wasn't broadcasting during the playoffs and he was only 63, which feels very different as close in age as I am. Plus, my dad threw primarily screwballs. RIP Fernando

Wood stove wood fired pizza among the falling leaves. Home made dough, creamed leeks, pancetta and fresh mozzarella.

I hope UMG gets skewered over and over again.

Last night, we got a whole lot of Frank Pepe New Haven style pizza. Tasty!

Kicked it up a different notch with Beef -N- Waffles for brunch today. Brisket and poached egg with hollandaise, greens, pea shoots and fried scallions on top of a garden herb waffle.
