Voltron

Steve's mom went by Frances, I believe. She was a lovely woman and Steve was clearly her favorite so she had good taste. Rest in Peace Frances.

Steve's double spatula game was intense!

Nice job!

Joined in 2009 and this is your first post?

I buttered some bread and you're over your goal already!

Have a great day!

Rest in power Amadou Bagayoko at 70. We saw Amadou & Miriam live a couple of times and they were fantastic and fun and inspiring. The tag line of the NYT obituary sums it up: As Amadou & Mariam, he and his wife were improbable pop stars on two counts. Their style was venturesome and eclectic, and they were blind virtuosos. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/04/06/obituaries/amadou-bagayoko-dead.html?unlocked_article_code=1.904.NxQ_.biksAuc9OkK5&smid=nytcore-ios-share&referringSource=articleShare I'm going to play Dimanche à Bamako right now. ☹️

So sorry you had to do go through that Todd. It's very hard. RIP good kitty Sam.

Today is the day that we bury my brother Tom, which is a hard sentence to type. In keeping with my family's tradition of over-long obituaries, and given the scope of his impressive career, we have created a website to post a memorial to Tom, along with some photos. You even get to see a sullen 12 or 13 year old Voltron on the steps of Congress with Tom and then congressman Leon Panetta whom Tom was interning for. Penetta later was director of OMB, White House chief of staff, CIA director and Secretary of Defense. Obituaries have appeared in AdWeek and other publications, as well as his former agency, but I am not sure which newspapers will run one or even already have run one. Happy Birthday Doug! 🎉

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the love and support. I've spent the last few days with my siblings. We are together tonight at my sister's house after going to a brewery this afternoon to drown our sorrows a bit.

Rest in peace my brother Thomas Hamilton Bedecarre, January 17, 1956 - March 29, 2025. I can't say anything else right now except FUCK CANCER.

Jay Leno is such a douche it's unbelievable. I'm about to lose my brother and I'm having a good cry watching this.

I like that AI AL is a two-fisted drinker in each version! Thanks for the good wishes everyone. I have had a good day and went out to dinner with friends and had cake back at home. Only one drink at a time, though.

Pre-gaming for an SFJAZZ show Sunday.

A couple of dinners this week. First, roast chicken and new potatoes on a bed of little gems lettuce. And a pork cutlet rice bowl. I fried the cutlets normally with a light amount of oil then briefly fried them again in chili crisp.

I would think DOGE is the revenge of the nerds... Now I see the typo. Revenge of the needy?

Emperor Tomato Ketchup would be an apt choice.

Same same

I'm also O-neg and this reminds me to get back to donating. 1,100 times is epic.

She had a ruptured appendix from January until now? I had assumed it was removed back then...

Marinara, mozzarella, sweet Italian sausage, fennel and onion with a sprinkle of parmesan.

Have a great one Nate! Cheers!

See! That's no van!

I beg your pardon! This vehicle is no kind of van. It is a sporty sport utility vehicle. Especially the GT!
