There are multiple locations because there is nothing unique about the contents. Print more pictures, paint some walls in pastels or jewel tones and create evocative knick knacks like faux hotel keys arranged in little boxes or a couple of beach umbrellas and a bench with fake trees or a surf board propped up behind them. And what not.

I clearly should have read the description of this exhibition we went to today, as should my brother who told us it was a Wes Anderson exhibit at a local museum. Not true. Here is their description of this thing that was pleasant and contained some good but not really artistic or professional photograph. "Accidentally Wes Anderson: The Exhibition" is a journey through more than 200 of the most beautiful, idiosyncratic, and interesting places on Earth – all seemingly plucked from the whimsical world of Wes Anderson. 10 themed rooms provide you a personal passport to visual inspiration and adventure with amazing photography and immersive moments throughout. https://awaexhibition.com/los-angeles/

Watched the first two episodes of The Bear Part III and I'm in love all over again. Quite the yin and yang pair of episodes.

I think it's Joe Piscopo

Finally got to Howlin' Ray's for a hot chicken sandwich and it was excellent! Went with Medium+ heat level at my brother's suggestion, but should have gone all the way to hot. No multiple hour line on a Friday at 4:00pm. In fact no line at all.

Martin Mull doesn't evoke either Roseanne or Arrested Development for me (partly because I didn't watch the former very much or the latter at all) but Fernwood/America Tonight was epic and his albums were a staple of my youth. This one hurts. RIP to Willie Mays, the greatest baseball player ever. He was supposed to be in Birmingham to be celebrated along with the Negro Leagues where he got his start this week but he had canceled that trip the other day. The Giants will play the Cardinals in old timey uniforms at the still standing Rickwood Field tomorrow and I'm sure they're going to have an extra big tribute to the Say Hey Kid. He was a childhood and lifelong hero I got to meet briefly and this was one case where meeting your heroes only increased my respect for him. Well before my time, he was a customer of my grandfather's French laundry. That would have been a fun stop on the delivery / pick-up route. Anyway, RIP to the true legend. https://www.sfchronicle.com/sports/giants/article/willie-mays-dead-obituary-17815215.php

The sad remnants of Big Brother and the Holding Company, who are apparently town residents. Their singer doesn't have quite the same presence as the original.

Wait until it hits 110 degrees in the shade! Hottest summer I ever spent was when I worked at the capital during college. And I had to wear a suit to work. 🥵

Korean meatballs from NYT cooking. I added some gochujang to make it spicy. We had a fresh baguette and kimchi pickles so we went for the sandwich option. Good stuff.

Steve is truly a master of marketing and promoting his work, but I thought I would try to get a few shots of this headphone rack that didn't contain his belly or fingers or our messy shop. It is not an easy thing to photograph but here are some shots that give a better flavor of this beautiful piece.

This thread really dropped off the map. I had to replace the heating element in my old Traeger, but it turned out to be quite easy and very cheap on Amazon. I re-christened the smoker with three racks of baby backs.
