  1. Life & Limb was not sour. It is very malty and somewhat sweet.
  2. Ah. Dragging the scroll bar quickly makes a big difference.
  3. No, he means he peed on his driveway.
  4. Why?
  5. Right after the crate fell of the truck? Sweet shot, Naaman. Is it teh awsum whiskey?
  6. Thank you for forcing my hand! True dat. We have so many injuries i am not sure what to call this collection of has-beens and whelps.
  7. Good lord. Get over it.
  8. Cheers to Matt the Younger, Mike and Jim with their Dreadnaught, and Shelly and her short rainstorm. Now if the Giants could just manage to win one damn game against the pathetic Astros.
  9. So Mike's rain dance worked?! Awesome. Pliny it is.
  10. Case Classic for me.
  11. Need my 007t or do you have something already?
  12. Rub it in, rub it in. You're going to make me crack open a Pliny, now aren't you?!
  13. Nice choice on the ice cream Grahame! Elixir will be on the tour next time the HC crew is in town. Those interested in recipes can go to their website and download their various seasonal cocktail menus with recipes and mixologist notes. Nice. Happy birthday week, Debbie! Looking forward to meeting you one of these days.
  14. Stone IPA, but I'd rather have a grown-up portion of Dreadnaught any day! Cheers Mike!
  15. Happy 29th Young Matt! Party on youngster! Cheers!
  16. Just watched the first two episodes of The Prisoner (original) on Bluray. It looks and sounds excellent and Alden really loved it. He's going to be quoting it relentlessly.
  17. Old Fashioned Whiskey Cocktail with Bourye and Boker's bitters. Not my favorite version. The Boker's seems too spicy and bitter for this application.
  18. Yew can dew eet Brent! Hand loose and relax.
  19. Shelly, I am not an expert on sherry or port at all, but I have had 2 or 3 bottles open since my 40th birthday 8 years ago and we are still drinking them. Ill advised, I know but the flavor is still good. I have heard that optimally, it shouldn't be kept open for more than a few weeks. I love the new bitters, er absinthe, bottles and the Opaline has a lovely color. The St. George's is less pretty, but I like the idea of dashing properly.
  20. Cedar, of course, Raffy. The Porch Wash was pretty tasty although quite different from the bar version. I used .25oz Benedictine instead of Jim's .5oz but probably would have been closer with the .5, and I also used Bokers bitters since those arrived recently. Nice looking cocktails Marc and Jim.
  21. Zhukov's wood aged was even better than the normal one. Yah! Beautiful shots, there Mikey. Nice Tonga glass Marc! Shelly, the supplies did indeed come from Cocktail Kingdom. I really want a very large mixing glass but it is always out of stock. Going to try the Porch Wash using some similar measurements to Jim's recipe. Wish me luck.
  22. Happy Birthday Ricey! We miss you around here, Laine. Hope you are a having a great one. Cheers!
