Not that I give one fuck about the amp now that it has been soiled since I last saw it, both literally and figuratively, but I had Naaman's BH for a few weeks following LACJ and it was a fantastic sounding and performing amp. It changed my previous opinion of the BH, which had been negatively influenced by hearing a couple of bad builds. I just wish I had bought it when Naaman sold it so that it wasn't doused in liquid Dayquil and left out in a dust storm.

Great news for Shelly and Beefy, indeed. My mom was doing pretty great after her last, scary hospital stay until Wednesday when she had a minor stroke. Since recovering her wits and with the double vision mostly subsiding, she has felt fine but she spent the last three days in the hospital again. To add to the good news, however, she is going home this afternoon. Her vision is still not completely normal, but we are waiting to see if it is permanent. All in all pretty amazing for a relatively frail and ailing 84-year-old.

Hey Mikey! Nice looking whisky. I had a nice Monk's Revenge cocktail earlier, following The Anvil Bar's recipe for its own creation. 1.5 oz Benedictine .75 oz Rye (Thos. Handy) barspoon each of Campari and Fernet Branca Stir with ice, strain, chant a bit, and enjoy. Very tasty and not sweet even with all that liqueur. Amen!
