Why not drink a cold beer at 10:20am on a hot Sunday?

Happy Birthday Ozgur! Cheers!

I don't really remember the details of the show, but I took a girl to see her favorite band REO Speedwagon in late 1979 even though I wouldn't have been caught dead there otherwise. I do recall it was a good show, and I also recall I didn't get even a proper kiss for my efforts.

Another nice piece Nate!

Sorry, no.

Memorial Day BBQ with Claire's sibs and families. My offerings were tempura batter fried zucchinis with an amazing tonnato dipping sauce from Pasta Supply Co. and a couple racks of smoked and grilled baby back ribs. Forgot to take a pic after cutting them up.

I was channeling Landsdown Street outside of Fenway, which was the best spot for sausages before seeing the Sox.

Whoops! Meant to post and forgot, Rob! Steve had a good run as the birthday czar and the rest of us got lazy! Hope you had a good day with some great beer. Cheers!

Six worthless posts in the first 30 minutes on Head-case is a recipe for pain. If there is still a welcome message, I suggest that you read it and heed it.

Yeah HS, it's BBQ oysters at the Marshall Store on Tomales Bay. The HC crew has gorged there together on occasion.

No Rockefellers but generally correct.

Sophie brought two babkas on her last visit: a nutella and a cinnamon and neither was the lesser. To quote another Seinfeld, they were real and they were spectacula!

That's awesome of you Nate, and I love the antique piece. Takes one to know one. 👴🏼

Obviously you need to tell us who you are dressing as and we'll need pics of you and the crew! Here's who I hope you chose:

Yesterday we went to a picnic put on by the Ligue Henri IV, which was a fraternal organization to support men and their families from the southwest of France for over 100 years until last year when membership was opened to women as well. I've been a member since I was 14 years old (age of admission) and my siblings and kids are all For the picnic, the Ligue provides grilled lamb and loaves of French bread for the princely sum of $5.00 per person. The members and guests bring the rest of their meals and beverages. I should have shown you the two trays of lamb we had -- a whole leg and multiple large racks of ribs -- along with six large loaves. It was excellent lamb and perfectly grilled.
