  1. Blowing money on school is a good investment. It will prevent you from having to blow educated people for money later down the line. Also Happy Birthday!

I so badly want to make something and sell it to him. He would make P.T. Barnum blush.
  3. Happy Birthday "The Real Morph"!
  4. looks like someone borrowed Gilmore's camera.

Yep. Pretty much all the way.
  6. More conventional, Marc, not conventional. I'd argue every voltage source amp is more conventional than the lone current source amp, whether it uses power jfets or not, no?
  7. It's so pretty, though.
  8. F1 sounds great with the K1000s, and even better with the Cicadas. I'm using the Moth EC2a3 to drive the K1Ks primarily, now, owing to that fact. I'd love to have the chance to run the F1 against another 10 watt Pass amp of a more conventional design like the F3 and see if The F1 is so brilliant because of the unorthodox design, or despite it. It seems that many here with a much more thorough knowledge of circuits than myself already have their position on the issue, but my talents lie elsewhere, so I'd have to plug them in.
  9. All discussions of what you intend to stuff in your box can take place elsewhere, thx.
  10. This would be indispensible to my workflow. As is, I don't even bother using a computer, as I am pretty ingrained in a "notebook" style of organization. This could change my landscape. cool cool cool.

I wore a Skagen daily for a few years. Held up admirably. If it means anything, I just bought one of these
  12. Oh sweet Jesus that is the coolest tech demo I have ever seen.
  13. Also, there may be Trappist-style beers, but so far as I know there are no trappist breweries in the States, and it's a US-only competition/exhibition.
  14. Plus the Trappist lifestyle isn't as appealing in modern Belgium as it may once have been.
  15. As a registered republican, I'm not able to physically see a beer affected by climate change, so those are, unfortunately, out. I'll definitely take that Russian Imperial Stout list to heart, however. Sounds delicious.
  16. I'm looking into the codec, but the memory was between 32mb and 64mb, depending on the game. Step 1: drop 128gb on flash on one of them.
  17. Better yet, figure out how to write FLACs to an N64 cartridge, and load a homebrew app on there to play them. Pure win? Pure win.
  18. I know for a fact cigar city will be there, so I'll hit them up
  19. This Friday (9/25) I'll be attending an evening session of the Great American Beer Festival here in Denver. Much as I would like to sample all 1,800 beers, time is limited to 4.5 hours, and I can't drink one sample per 9 seconds for more than an hour or two. Therefore, I was hoping some of you brew aficionados (read: feckless drunks) might have some suggestions for me for a beer/brewery/style I should not miss.
  20. One would suggest using the hot water to put out the fire.

[kai]x2[/kai] One of the appealing aspects of the show is the authenticity with which they introduce new plot devices and story arcs. You don't feel ridiculous catching someone up on what they had missed explaining all the kooky stuff that happened. The new season seems to maintain this quality, which means it will probably stay the best show on TV.
  22. I could take the time to run a full bivariate regression and give you a pleasant r^2, but with such a small n it would hardly be worth it. That's right, igorst, you have a small n, and it's not very pretty so far.
