There's a reason it only has 28k on it, it never runs long enough to rack any up. Also, if you're going to own one it'd have to be silver.

Engine starts every time! Including the 5 times it takes to get out of your driveway.

I'll bet that's part of it. They weren't know for their reliability. I suspect by the amount of work done on it that it was in a pretty good wreck at some point. That's usually why you see painted Deloreans.

Just watched a tech program on the History Channel tonight that covered the saga of the Delorean. Someone in Texas bought a majority of the plant in Ireland and is making new Deloreans. If I was going to get one I'd spend the extra money for a new one. From the footage and what I remember it's pretty damn cramped in the engine bay.

I remember when these came out. Used to go to the Buick dealership near college and sit in the car from time to time and dream.

I got "snipe" for the first one.

The Delorean would make a perfect winter car. :P

This was a piece that Top Gear did a couple of years ago, but it has just now made it's way to their website: Atom overtakes a million pounds... worth of cars. It shows slides of each of the cars that the Atom buried at the 'Ring'... just blew them all away. The car by car pics begin at slide 7.

I worked with this artist when she was a software engineer. She's a very good artist and specializes in plein air pastels. Surprisingly, she's extremely color blind.

Oh yes, the image you posted is funny.
