KEF Egg

Featured Replies

Did you read the Amazon reviews?  Apparently anyone can access your speakers by bluetooth.  One person said they were well built and sounded good but he woke up to music blaring one night after his neighbor figured out he could access the speakers.  Funny unless you are the one who is pranked.

You can't change the PIN?

KEF is good stuff, I normally would have said that if you are in the market for such a product, buy it.

I'd probably prank entirely differently, if one of my neighbors had a KEF Egg.  I'd probably transmit Testtone, then occasionally overdub subliminal messages, like "Don't vote for Trump, ever again" and "quit breeding" and "get a vasectomy" and "quit beating your wife" and "quit cheating on your husband" and "don't knock gay sex until you've tried it"...

I assume that it is the same as on the MUO.  I have the MUO and have never had any problem.  I can look into it.  I don't live in an apartment so I am not too worried.

ah the beauty of bad bluetooth security practices...  but they look cool...

Nope, both are active. They both have BT as well.

Let us know what you think about them. I have been thinking about replacing my work speakers with something that has Bluetooth and I am especially interested in the Edifier.

which one? they're both by Edifier. the e25hd is $250 and the S2000 Pro is $400

The s2000 Pro. Did not even realize the other one was by Edifier.

s2000 tempts me greatly. looks perfect for our living room's constraints.

following up... my impressions are that s2000 is well worth $400. sound good with everything.

tested blu ray last night with the optical out and a fight scene greatly alarmed the dog.

Cool. Am going to pull the trigger on a pair to try at work. They have better connectivity for my use compared to the Airmotivs.

Looking forward to checking out the S3000 Pro :)
