Why is it unfair? Did she order a lesser scone?

She said it was unfair that someone could make one that good. "It shouldn't be allowed"

So Joanne bought 4 so she could freeze them, and "defrost happiness"

I don't blame her

Now at our (non HC) friends

Topped with Stracciatella and Caramel Cone Ice Cream

Come visit me Steve!  I will take you to a good bakery (although I don't think they have scones which is fine with me since I am not a fan of scones).

Lengua, cabeza, and carnitas.  The holy trinity of tacos.

The Cabeza is called Barbacoa down here, and is delicious. Not a big Lengua fan myself.

Hamburger, salad at a place called Foode -- superb!

 

EDIT:  The plan was to hit Capital Ale House in Fredericksburg on the way down to Richmond, but they were closed!  Next time, I'll check in advance -- if I had known, I would have arranged it to hit one of the Capital Ale House restaurants in Richmond, but there was a sign on the one in Fredericksburg that gave a list of restaurants recommended as alternatives, and Foode was the closest, most interesting one (it was kind of a co-op where different farmers would gather their ingredients and run the restaurant together kind of thing), and I can't say I was disappointed.  Plus, hostess was a strawberry blonde with freckles so...
