meebo is slow as hell, though, in my experience.
Hmmm... I use it daily as my primary IM 'client', but that's mostly on the laptop. Probably only used it half a dozen times on the touch. Have others had this experience?

anyone use their iPhone/touch as an iTunes remote? What program are you using

Signal - The Ultimate Media Player Remote

Signal is probably your best bet, but it sounds like there should be something coming out this Friday when the new iPhone app store is opened.

Looks like iTunes 7.7 is now available and you can go in and view and download apps. Course they are of no use until iphone software 2.0 comes out.

Cool. I'll definitely will be getting some applications. MonkeyBall maybe.

Yup, don't need Signal anymore as there's a free remote download.

it'll be worth the $10.

Yeah, I know, I just feel like I'm getting nickel and dimed by apple to "unlock" the potential of what was already a very expensive device. It's like they're passing along the cost while giving Phone users a free ride even though the cost of the phone is less than the Touch.

While the iPhone 3G is less expensive upfront, the cost of the plans has increased for the 3G... people will end up paying for it eventually.

Sweet, the iPhone is being launched tomorrow over here (finally). They contracted T-Mobile *stupid stupid stupid* but their contract ends in like 3 months and it seems that Vodafone is gonna get them too by then and that would be extremely nice.

you're not interested in the Universal Remote control? come on, wouldn't it be sweet to control clocks and trains and trees, all from your phone?

I hear you can also have your own Steve Jobs reality distortion field generated around you too. That could come in handy!

4am

I'll take my chances with 6am. I'm up anyway, so I can just drive over, grab some coffee at DD and listen to music.

i'm all alone here at work this week, so i just can't do it. no way i could get over there in time at lunch, either.

They say that stock will be replensihed daily so if not tomorrow then Saturday.

I wish I could get back my $600. But I knew it was par for the course. Fuck it.

Im sitting this one out. Next iteration of macbook pro, however....;D
