  • Turns out the damage was a bit more severe than a bad cable. They could still be repaired for less than the cost of a new pair, but not enough less that it seemed worth it. So new Etys are on the way.

  • That's because you're supposed to put them in your ears!

  • So the LCD3 Zebrawood showed back up tonight and I think I just bought a pair. Rob, you get the LCD5 and we'll compare and see if they're worth it, kay?

Hmm I really only want one to control the Gilmore attenuator. Maybe I will have a look tomorrow

looks like more of the Touchpads will be offered for sale soon. i was stupid, but the time i realized that a Touchpad would be a valid purchase for me on my pcard they were out.

At the HP store website you linked?

yes, i believe HP will be getting more in stock as they pull in products from retailers.

I noticed yesterday that they are no longer on the shelf at my local walmart.

From what I have read most stores sold out when word got out on the deal. That's why I never even bothered to call any store today. There was a guy on Ebay that listed 6000 for buy it now at $125 (16 gb model) and he sold out really quickly this morning.

that HP link failed when i tried to order, but i placed an order with B&N. we'll see what happens.

x2

thank you HDen. Hopefully B&N comes through

Hopefully BN comes through, as my son wants one for Xmas and the HP site kept crashing when trying to check out.

Ordered one from B&N, thanks.

I just checked status and it says there is a problem. Probably not in stock any more. DOH! oh well.

Shit, I bought one for $50 and it is definitely worth that.

I'm really tempted to pick one up, but trying to avoid all new toys/gadgets/gizmos right now until I finalize my short term disability and whatnot. But still, oh so tempting.

Seems like a cool gadget for a Head-Case meat

They do have an android app. As well as one for those pome things.

They also have an iPad app. Will it stream FLAC? If so, I may get it anyways for the work rig (if I ever go back) ;)

I believe it can. I have only personally streamed Apple Lossless.

Energy CF30 Floorstanders for 99$ each. Prime eligible. Maybe you need a bedroom pair or want a cheap HT setup, or maybe you have some friends needed something new, may not be a bad deal.

For those of you that ordered the Touchpad from B&N and had your order cancelled check your junk/spam box for a $20 gift card from them. Very nice of them to do that.
