May 30, 200917 yr comment_239133 You guys always come through, so now I'm looking for the best easiest to use Mac FTP client. Report
May 30, 200917 yr comment_239137 I'd avoid FileZilla on the Mac... it's fine on Linux or Windows but pretty unintuitive to Mac people. Fetch is good, I use Cyberduck Report
May 30, 200917 yr comment_239140 I think Fetch is a really good choice if you just need the basics. Report
May 30, 200917 yr comment_239141 wow, fetch is still around? I remember using that back in the day. Does it still have the terrier dog icon? Report
June 1, 200917 yr comment_239496 Transmit is the best IMO, if you don't mind paying for it.This is what I recommend for all my business clients... Report
June 1, 200917 yr Author comment_239497 I used Fetch today, which seems perfect for my very modest needs. But I will check out these other suggestions, too, should I need another solution. Thanks again. Report
June 1, 200917 yr comment_239504 You need a full client, or just something to download? Firefox/whatever browser you're using should do ftp. Report
June 1, 200917 yr comment_239593 Search - VersionTracker Here's a list of what versiontracker has. The programs in the blue font tend to be the more popular programs. Report
June 2, 200917 yr comment_240172 We use Transmit and CyberDuck at work. Transmit is OK, but over-priced for what it is. CyberDuck IMHO is an unintuitive PITA. Some people really like Capt FTP, but I haven't really used it. Lately I've been touting Filezilla. It's free and Open Source. It's available for most all platforms and no platform's version is crippled. (It pisses me off big time when developers do crappy versions for Linux or Mac or whatever.) The people who maintain it are really conscientious, and hey, it works. It's not terribly pretty or fancy. It's a graphical FTP client is all. -Carl Report
June 2, 200917 yr comment_240186 I love CyberDuck and haven't really had a problem with it, ever. I tried transmit before but wasn't really a fan. I like FireFTP also, pretty sweet FF add-on. Report
June 2, 200917 yr comment_240233 Welcome to head-case Matt. Thanks. When you're sick of me, blame the CJ'ers... Report
June 2, 200917 yr comment_240237 You'll know if we are sick of you only long enough to hear the whistling toward the back of your head. Have fun over here Matt, or should I say Mark? It was fun meeting you and hanging a bit. Tell me if you can stomach those Honduran panatellas I gave you. I still have the Monte or whatever it is. Report

Anyway, I actually had one of those panatellas on the way home Monday morning, and while it was it mild, I definitely found the flavor enjoyable. Looking forward to trying one when my palette isn't so nuked. Thanks again! /me notes cigars given to Al are referred to as "or whatever." lol Report

Sorry for the interruption, Monkey. We sure missed you this weekend. Report
