  • We sure know how to party!!!

  • Short "hopumentary" about craft beer in the bay area.  Fun to see the City Beer Store, Zeitgeist, Lagunitas and other local beer folks for those who have met them and frequented their establishments.

I've got a high quality color video of the Baker test. If I can easily dig it up I'll post it.

That dark shadow inside the column on the right is the USS Arkansas riding vertically in the column of water. Baker was detonated 90 feet underwater. I'm impressed with this one as well as the Einstein pic you posted.

There's lots of nuclear money shots in "Trinity and Beyond", now available on Blu-Ray, etc

Got it when it came out. A little disappointed that Kuran took 4x3 content and zoomed in to fill a 16x9 image. I understand why and he is definitely the man when it comes to this pristine footage, but I would have preferred it in it's native format.

I'm more pissed about Chronos being reformatted than this...

And if anyone's interested here's a fascinating but depressing documentary on Bikini. Hard to find.

^ The first thing you see is a Redneck Santa and his young lady friend in her rebel flag bikini. But when you look a little closer, you see that they charge admission (wrist tags).

Why would anyone pay to jump into a diarrhea pond?

The wrist bands are for drinking, methinks. Not everyone has them on.

I am ashamed to admit that I did not see the girl :( Only Santa.
