January 22, 201115 yr comment_422200 i can believe it, development was taken over and didn't they have a playable demo at pax? Report
January 22, 201115 yr comment_422210 Nothing will be able to live up to the legacy of duke 3d though, imo. Report

January 22, 201115 yr comment_422320 So I always thought that when this did eventually come out I'd have no interest in playing it. That trailer though... I may have to reconsider. Report
January 23, 201115 yr comment_422564 That trailer was bad ass. I knew there was a reason I bought that graphics card. Report
January 23, 201115 yr comment_422577 Gearbox is pretty legit, so I have no doubts it's coming out. I'm just wondering if we'll have rechargeable shields and driving akin to Halo again like in Borderlands. Edited January 23, 201115 yr by KrypticMind Report
January 24, 201115 yr comment_422784 I think any game sets itself up for failure these days if they don't implement the rechargeable shields. The kiddies just don't know how to manage a health bar anymore. For a totally over the top action game can't say I mind it. Been playing a bit of Vanquish lately and that game would blow without rechargeable health. Report
January 24, 201115 yr comment_422788 I fucking hate regenerating health in an FPS. There were a great many things about it which sucked, but nothing did more to ruin the new Goldeneye Wii than that retarded regenerating health mechanic. Report
January 24, 201115 yr comment_422804 IMO the trailer looked terrible. Doom 3 era graphics, the driving looking like something out of a Nintendo 64 game, and lame shock value gimmicks. I'm sure it will be fun, but it looked far from a big budget developer's title from that trailer. Report

The final version should have the graphics updated. Duke was always about the shock value gimmicks. That seems to do well these days. Edited January 24, 201115 yr by manaox2 Report

Oh I've played all the Duke games including the side scroller It just seemed like this trailer put too much emphasis on it. Report
