Allright guys, we have an issue. Morph has kind of been messing with our channel politics, yelling at us for banning spammers, linking whatever, and acting how we want. He's a good guy, but it's gone way too far. I don't know if you've noticed or not, but some people's auto-ops have been taken away... So we might end up having to pull a Reks and move it somewhere else. I have a pretty capable (but kind of empty) network going on, so we could easily move it there for the time being. I'd like everybody to speak up (especially null cause he's the chan owner) as to what they think, but please don't make a decision until you've heard the story from people getting messed wit…

I have to admit that the IRS is getting on my nerves a bit -- getting me just a little bit angry. Doing those things they do. I did my tax (or rather, had them done) early this year because we owed a little bit a of money last year, and I switched jobs last year, so I wanted to see where I was at in terms of taxes. As it turms out, because of various factors, I significantly overpaid, so I'm expecting what for me was a sizable refund. My taxes were electronically filed on 2/16. According to the IRS chart, I should have had my refund directly depositted last Friday. As of today, nothing. So I check online and find that the processing of my return has been "delayed,"…

Hey everyone, Earl just told me about this new forum this morning and I've spent the last little while reading through the Ruh roh thread, all 22 pages. It's funny, before I was talking to Earl this morning I was thinking about my latest run-in with the mod squad on Head-Fi and thinking someone really needs to start another forum where the good folks can hang out. Boy was I suprised and glad to see someone has done just that and it looks to already be getting a decent amount of traffic from some of the HF regulars. Well done!

I've heard rumors of various public figures having accounts on head-fi. They never get outed over there because we all know how much celebrities hate publicity (yea right). So any of you forum addicts got any usernames to go with some big names? We're all friends here and I'm just curious.

Just wanted to say Hi! Seems like a great new forum. Atleast looks much better then headfi

So far, for me, it's Ultraviolet -- most of y'all are going to hate it, but those who will admit to themselves that they enjoy watching a heroine kick some serious ass -- with guns, bullets and looks -- this is for you. Highly stylized looks (it appears that 29 out of every 30 frames have been airbrushed)...terrible CGI (I think Tron was better) -- but again, I think this was on purpose, since it's so consistent -- made to look like a comic book, perhaps?...total over-the-top violence (bullet-dodging)...Milla's naked butt...what's not to like? If you liked films like Equilibrium or Brotherhood of the Wolf, recommended.

So what was your favourite movie of 2005? A couple of mine: Batman Begins Constantine Howl's Moving Castle Mirrormask Sin City Wallace & Gromit in the Curse of the Were-Rabbit ...can't think of any others, but I'm sure I'm forgetting some... I would have said: Appleseed, Steamboy, and Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence, but those are all 2004.

So who is it? Chen is probably the best, but my favorite has got to be Morimoto for his creativity and cross-cultural cooking style. The Natto battle is great. I know there were a few more that had a few battles, but I couldn't fit them. And I don't even know their names, so whatever.
