Helped Joanne make a Space Rocket cake for book club. EDIT: Book Club admires the finished result

I pulled in to a big box on the porch. Gotta open the box Best. Helper. Ever. Well, he's cute, anyways. Was trying to build before the sun went down... so didn't take pix of the in-between stuff, but when she was done. So, I haven't installed pedals or taken it for a spin yet, but I need to upgrade the Front D, shifters, wheels, saddle, seatpost, stem, bar, brake pads (ok, brakes), Rear D, and paint. Oh, and crank and chain, oh, and tyres. The d-_-b way, no? Of course, I'm busy from 8am-9:30pm tomorrow, and it's raining until Sunday, but I already have a Sunday ride planned with a buddy. Noticed last night that one of the cockatiel eggs is starting to make "cheep cheep cheep" noises. It was still doing it this morning. I expect it will hatch into something really ugly pretty soon.

Yeah, considering it's basically a glorified magnifying glass, I'm thinking of getting her a -- wait for it -- non-glorified magnifying glass...and maybe one of those helping hands things.

I feel like I've joined a cult. FWIW, my top game on Steam in terms of time played is Terraria, with ~330 hours.

I don't acknowledge knowing that.

Got an offer on the house. Hopefully these people won't back out like the jagbags who after inspection realized the closet in the 5th bedroom was too small.
