Went to the first night of the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival with Al, Claire and a few others. Saw Lindsay Buckingham and Alison Krauss. Fantastic!

Well I was expecting to be down to my Panerai and g shock for some time while assessing exactly what I wanted next. But the wife continues to be a bad influence in my life. She saw me checking out pics of this and decided it has a nice look, not entirely pleased that my watch dealer ignored my standing order not to let her buy me anything. Either way, quite pleased with the piece and he always comes through on the pricing. Normally not a fan of two tone yellow gold but the way it's used here is quite understated.

We just butchered two grass-fed steers - three year old Jerseys, "rescued" from a dairy farm shortly after they were born. Three freezers full. Anyone who feels like visiting before it's all gone will be treated to brisket and rib cap. Results to follow.

Today I stumbled across a Sennheiser showroom in San Francisco on Post St. just off Union Sq. They had the HD820 and most of their other cans out to try with their amp/DACs. You can plug in your own phone or stream Tidal. They also have the Orpheus in a private room by appointment. The place was empty at 11:45 on a Friday. I was the only customer... I won't bother you with my impressions...just a heads up to anyone in the Bay Area that would like to audition any Sennheiser stuff.

Now with top plate. Aerial view, the two holes in front of outer small tubes are for balance trimmers. Adjust balance after some time of warm up and then insert jumpers for the servos.
