  2. RIP Matsuo-san. A maroon 240Z (my dad & stepmom's) was the first car I drove when practicing for my drivers license.....

  3. That's weirdly coincidental that you mentioned Tubular Bells, I was just listening to this earlier today: Listening to this now: Worth it just for the first couple minutes, in which David Gilmour plays an abbreviated version of Shine On You Crazy Diamond while playing acoustic.

  4. Thanks, guys! Means a lot. Love it @skullguise - These groups do so much good. I love this one program that Seattle Humane has. It's called "Mom's Last Litter." If there is a cat or dog that is pregnant, people can sign up and SH will spay her for free if you surrender the kittens/pups. It benefits a lot of lower-income people in the area, and gets some animals to good homes. There is also a pet food bank that is mind blowing, having had eyes on some of the other shelters and how they are so often in need. They've also worked with some of the other shelters and clinics in the region to assist in various ways. When they built their new building a few years back, the old building next door had been able to have a lot of the infrastructure donated to some of the other regional shelters. Nice to have some ties to such a cause.

  11. New 50th Anniversary Edition has a solid live show of them at Port Chester, NY from 2/21/71. Mickey Hart was out so really interesting to hear them with only one drummer.

  12. Tubular Bells did not strike the same tone, so I went back to some blues. Getting through tough times is the reason for the blues in the first place, so it only makes sense...

  13. I should listen to this more often. I feel better about the world -- or at least forget a lot of the shit going down -- while it is playing.
