Finished the Wire. Couldn't have asked for much more with the ending.
Now, I feel like starting over again with Season 1 - perhaps it's time to buy the box set.
@Jeff and other chia people: Do you soak the chia seeds first or just them right in the smoothie.
Today's smoothie was excellent
6 frozen strawberries
handful of cherries leftover from breakfast
2 plums
spinach
kale
2 bananas
almond milk
1/2 apple
I suppose you are right. It just seemed very unrealistic at first (that Omar would have his guard down). Going through the events leading up to it, like Kenard seeing Omar as a weak before this, it seems slightly more realistic.
Currently towards the end of Season 5 (just 3 episodes left to go - maybe finish this weekend). So far, season 5 is ok but it is certainly one of my least favorites. I would probably have to rewatch 2 to see if I liked it more or less.
My current lineup
4 > 3 >> 1 > 2 or 5 (depending on what happens in episodes 8-10 of Season 5)
I really want to buy the Nikon 85mm f/1.8g lens. Does it seems ridiculous to buy an 85mm prime for a DX lens (127mm equiv on DX)? (This would probably mostly be used outdoors for candid photos at this length.) Perhaps I should save my money and get the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 instead.
I found out that arugula is not much better for you than iceberg lettuce so I am going to stick with kale and spinach.
Tried beets in the smoothy today. I liked it quite a bit but hubby was not so fond. I only used 1/2 a large beet (peeled) but did put kale in it too. It was very earthy.
1/2 large beet (peeled)
1/2 Pink Lady apple
1 plum
5 strawberries
3 leaves of lacinato kale
1 frozen banana
almond milk
I like earthy so no problem here. By the way, has anyone tried arugula in smoothies. I love arugula but the flavor is very strong a bitter so I am afraid it may not go so well in smoothies.
Still haven't tried beets or avocados in my smoothies but want to. Have any good recipes for these?
I am also debating whether I should get some protein powder to put in mine.
I was never impressed with the WA2. On the other hand, I do like the WA5LE with the HD800 but it is (probably unneccessarily) huge/heavy and not so cheap. Not saying that it is similar to the circuit of the Extreme but just saying that I like it better than the WA2.
Jacob,
I have some output tubes from my Extreme that I am no longer using. I think I may have a pair of TS 5998. If you are going to keep the/an Extreme long term, I could send them to you.
