  1. Bacon and egg tacos. Unfortunately, I still can't taste anything due to my cold so it might as well be a pile of mush.
  2. I also love the Peak/Volcano + HD800 combo. I am sure that I probably mentioned this before. You can't really go wrong with the GS-X though and the new ECP Audio Black Diamond sounds very interesting.
  3. Does one actually drink such an expensive scotch or is it just for looks?
  4. For horrid dynamics, you should go for Ultrasone then.
  5. Yeah, but that looks pretty ugly.
  6. Just saw this, what a shame. RIP Philip Seymour Hoffman. http://www.nytimes.com/2014/02/03/movies/philip-seymour-hoffman-actor-dies-at-46.html?_r=0
  7. JH13
  8. ^Why don't you get another RS-1? I know you loved that can. Either that or get the PS500. I would personally stay away from the HiFiman stuff but that is just me.
  9. Good job Mike! I really should try one of the younger HPs - it's just that the 18 is so good...
  10. I love the HP 18 and will probably buy another bottle every time I run out. Have you had Talisker 18 Stretch? It isn't really like the HP but it is fantastic - one of my favorites!
  11. Thanks for the link, I should make an account. I probably should keep track of them before I forget. I'm interested in the Hakushu, I saw a bottle of the 12yr here and it was wondering about it. My first bottle of Japanese whiskey was Hibiki which I love. My second bottle was Yamazaki 12yr which was good but didn't blow me out of the water. I'm having the Glendronach 15 right now and it is very nice. I like the Aberlour A'bunadh more though. I haven't been a huge fan of Balvenie so far. I got a sampler pack of the 12/15/21. The 12 was fine, the 21 was better and the 15 I liked the most of the three but maybe not enough to buy a whole bottle. It isn't too hard to get samples of the Balvenie stuff and I would probably do that before buying a bottle.
  12. I have some Hibiki and it is great, very different than anything else I have had. Would any of the mod be willing to switch this title to Scotch-Case?
  13. Coconut oil in steel cut oats is pretty great.
  14. You like them more than the the SR-307?
  15. Missed Jacob's back problem - sorry, that sucks.
  16. It depends what you call cold. I would call anything under 60 degrees cold and this weather miserable. We get snow or ice storms every once in a while (not every year) but they seem to be happening more often recently. The freezes in the winter we've been having and the drought we had a couple of years ago have made my banana trees very very unhappy! The good news is the ice storm has caused classes to be canceled today so I can stay home and do research.
  17. Happy Birthday Adrian!
  18. When I went to work today it was 60 degree and nice, now it is 35 degress and rainy. We're supposed to get freezing rain here tonight and possibly extending until noon tomorrow, WTF??? Hope we don't lose power.
  19. Thanks, I'll look into it.
  20. I guess we all expected that.
  21. Happy Birthday Mike!!! Have a martini or two for me!
  22. According to this, 320 kbps streaming is only for premium customers. https://support.spotify.com/us/learn-more/faq/#!/article/What-bitrate-does-Spotify-use-for-streaming You also have to be a premium member to use it with SB Touch. https://support.spotify.com/us/learn-more/faq/#!/article/Logitech
  23. Seems that Spotify Premium is twice as much as Mog (the basic plan is $5 and allows you to stream on desktop plus logitech app,...). I don't like that.
