Now I know nothing about him aside from the fact that he's got a very whiny voice and someone in the audience has great aim!

Nice logo for sure There is a barrier between the beer and you....it's the cap. This klein bottle shaped bottle opener will help remove that barrier. (in so many words, but with more words and better stated)

Oops! I forgot what size the game installs took. Nonetheless, a 6gb game install would fill the 4gb drive quickly, would it not? New xbox does have a removable hdd, it's just hidden by the grill. You pop off a portion of the bottom grill by pressing a button and then pull the hard drive tab to remove it. Additionally you can now use usb memory sticks for storage, but only up to 16GB.

The hard drive size is for storage and does not have an effect on performance. It's used to store game saves, downloaded games from xbox live, downloadable content, and for storing the game data to play from if you want to play the games from hard drive. In the case of installing the games to hard drive, that is where you'll hit the drive limit quickly with the 4GB option. You can always upgrade later if need be.

You should be able to get the 250GB console with Kinect for $400, the 4gb console with Kinect for $300, and the 4gb console without kinect for $200. Kinect sensor by itself costs $150 and the 250gb drive costs $120. These are prices for just the kits, it doesn't factor any of the stupid retailer "bundle" pricing that tend to include games you don't want.

For a Kindle, it wouldn't be too difficult to use a program like Calibre to convert the books over. I recently picked up a DX and really like it.
  13. Reservation codes don't seem to work anymore, I guess I'll just give them a call
  14. Picked up a used Kindle DX, liking it quite a bit so far.
  15. Wow that really sucks Hopefully karma catches up to them. Today I went to a high-end home theater and audio store that had quite a few nice demo rooms. Apparently I wasn't dressed the part since I was all but ignored by the salesman.

Electronics-Expo.com - electronics-expo.com - Reviews, Ratings and Prices at ResellerRatings I'd be hesitant to order from them, personally speaking.

Ah...after rereading the post a couple of times, I think oqvist meant that he would cut off the jack at the end of his stock cable and wire it to his speaker amp. I was thinking that he meant he was going to take it apart to find out what was inside. FYI though, it's the Canare 4S6 Canare Corp.: Speaker Cable-Star Quad: speaker Cable - star quad(4S6)

You really don't need to dissect the stock cable, it's just a stock Canare cable. If you take the model number right off the printing you can look up the specs for it. I'm at work now so I don't have the cable handy, otherwise I'd link it.
  24. Ack. I missed that 12VRMS peak output spec. Can definitely be considered "hot" for a pre-amp/dac, eh?
  25. I'm not sure I understand the question as well, but I'll give replying a shot. Since it uses a digital volume control, setting it to full volume should be the same as bypassing the preamp function.
