  1. (...at notion of Dell)
  2. I thought this was just a single loon, but it's getting more serious. What are the odds that a multitude of faithful Bible students (that no man can number) are wrong?
  3. Congrats, but five meals a day?
  4. According to Grahames link you should be able to get a good nights sleep, just be up and around at 6pm locally to see the fireworks (see below). I'm confused though if there's going to be a single great quake or a new one in each time zone? Does god follow DST? Who here is up on their eschatology? I'll try to help if cryptozoology comes into play. Also getting conflicting info on the number of time zones in Indiana. Is it 2 or 3? I'm trying to figure out how much punishment is going to be released there.
  5. Well, I suspect it was my AT&T modem router, though never tested in a different building. I was going to next test various IP settings, but to be honest with the Squeezebox Touch as backup I haven't returned to debugging. Plan too, just haven't.
  6. Hey, before I forget again (Knuckledragger and I had posted awhile back) - we're all gonna start the big downward spiral in a few days. The next several months could be exciting so keep your cameras charged. A bit pissed I never got to hear the JH3A and was kinda looking forward to Apples next MBA, but I'm sure I'll be distracted, what with the gnashing of teeth and all. Evidently Saturdays start date is calculated both on Noahs boating trip (a day is a thousand years) and the letters in the date of JC starting that whole cross thing. And maybe something to do with Mayans. Possibly the return of Two and a Half Men. Anyway, sounds like Harold Camping has really done his homework (unlike in 1994). So enjoy the rest of the week. How do you plan on spending the last few days? What's in your non-torment playlist? More info here. Video here. Pictorial representation of rapture realization or IEM insertion problems.
  7. Congrats Nate.

  9. That's how I'm reading it and maybe why they're stressing video (when you're unlikely to be doing other tasks including surfing). We'll have to see how the network is handled. Still with iPads USB digital audio out this could be a decent solution over some of the crazy setups to get digital audio out of iPhone.
  10. Seagate just introduced a portable drive specifically targeted at iPad users. Kinda interesting. More info.
  11. How is it? Currently Portico Quartet...
  12. Cool and congrats. Love the Silhouettes.
  13. ShuGuang 50 Years Black Treasures set
  14. Good luck. Report back and pick up any discs you can at the show as they're so difficult to find elsewhere.
  15. Something to read as we're on the 3A final days... http://ow.ly/1sZ91I
  16. In SF (and likely other cities) some people create additional markers (with spray painted lines on edge of driveway, etc.) signaling a more serious response to parkers. Shouldn't be your duty, but it works. Or there's always the Visualize World Peace variation of...
  17. Cool, Long Form-lite like service (especially good for 3rd gen users)... http://delivereads.com/

Cheap way to get into GoogleTV... Logitech Revue Google TV Receiver $180
  19. X3 on the congrats. Beautiful machine. You wouldn't cover it up with Velcro now would you?
  20. Okay, I'm gonna try to catch up. Finishing up a 2007 Lost Sonnet Meritage. Moving to 2005 Nadia Cab. Best way to deal with working all weekend. Did make it to a Rodin tour this morning. Who knew I lived 12 minutes away from the second largest collection in the world? http://museum.stanford.edu/view/rodin_garden.html
  21. Hunt it down. Best recommendation I've found yet in the Twitterverse. Like Qawwali/Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Crazy devotional lyrics like [translated]... In Sauherad, Hjukse was the proudest farm Time drags on Proud Margjit was the daughter on that farm It is I who am weighed down with grief Proud Margit got ready to go to church Time... She then took the road through the mountains It is I...
  22. Yeah, plus probably stating the obvious, but it does seem Pete and Craig have always been about slightly different house sounds (while both being usually successful in their targets). Maybe exaggerating a bit, but backing up your impressions (well, assuming a relationship between transparent design and eventual clarity in output - caveat of tube choice as you mentioned), know at least one member who prefers the richness of LCD2s with BA, but Tylls above clean focus of HD800s coupled with the Peak. Craig seems pretty taken with the LCD2s (though after current designs). Anyone know which phones Pete listens to primarily? Curious.
