  5. Know little about it, but boastful question has me interested... Boddie Recording Company - possibly the finest boxset in the world? More info.
  6. Quick Google of 'furry' and 'hemp' pulled up these.
  7. Well, I have this temp crappy cart, so not getting full sonic bliss (compared to digital), but overall enjoying the handling experience quite a bit. Trying to jump in with both feet and see what happens. Doing my best to avoid duping titles (and saving money), but couple special edition Pavement releases I was interested in. And yes, Wowee Zowee has been ordered.
  8. Eights sides of wonder. Will likely order Wowee Zowee shortly.
  9. And I'll add... Nicolas Cage awoken by naked man with Fudgesicle
  10. Does the Oppo show tags or only file names? If the former stay way from WAV.
  11. Nice. Anyone order the Reference Recordings Mastercuts and can comment if they live up to their other releases?

Casey Pugh created a little Pandora-like music video site. Kinda fun. http://musicvideogenome.com/
  13. Mostly a Lavry DA10, though recently also a Rega RP1-TTVJ stage. My B22 is indeed a two-board version (I previously had a four-board, though eventually was told by next owner there were problems with it - can't remember what - and it's been years and different gear). I should clarify my issues - I tend to feel over time all wire-with-gain amps I've had (B22, GS1, CK2III) are bright, and only used successfully over time with dark cans such as the lower Senns. The HD800 was the first to push the Luxman there too, which is another story. Course brightness means different things to different people and often I just mean a perceived imbalanced towards the top. And I'm obviously shifting blame away from phones to the amp, a little unfair. It's just less often and less severe with the P/V than my other amps.

  20. Interesting impressions K3cT. Almost all my time with the P/V is with the HD800, which may explain my somewhat opposite experience. The P/V(Shuguang)-HD800 can sound bright without a doubt, but I find the B22 (at least my build) and P-1u to be much more often so with that can. I almost always switch to HD580 with the B22 to add a little lower end and therefore balance and lessen the fatigue. That pairing I love... though not as much as P/V-HD800.

  23. Congrats. Please let me know if you ever figure out how to make pasta with the KitchenAid front attachment. I've successfully destroyed every batch so far.
