  1. wazzat? sorry, i was just busy twiddling my thumbs and wasn't listening over here
  2. I hope none of your birds have a steel plate in its head! I keep thinking about the Road Runner and the iron pellets in his Acme Bird Seed...
  3. mysterious! let us know how it pans out! i saw someone get one on head-fi and theirs was silver - glad you can color coordinate to your black amp!
  4. I admit to liking my cans more than any AT cans too, but I'd have to say my personal preference (as in, i'd buy it for my closed can, which i currently have none of) leans toward the W10VTG first, the W5000 next, and that's it out of the ones I've heard.
  5. Like i'm drowning in a vat of sharp dark chocolate. :'(
  6. My Lambda Pros bring da bass. It's deeper than the HP2 even. But not as crazy as the GS1000 with flats!
  7. and make sure you get Inkmo's permission to use his drawings and characters - tho since he's on head-fi, a PM should do it!
  8. To me, the bass isn't like warm smooth milk chocolate, like the W10VTG is. it's more like sharp dark chocolate. don't worry, it's not molasses. but i wouldn't call it bright. sharp maybe, but not bright.
  9. fine fine i'll upload it into my precious head-case image gallery. how about now?
  10. and it's from the second round too. that's a QUICK turnaround for over 200% profit. sheesh.
  11. can you see this?
  12. the best closed can this side of a Sony R10. but a bit chocodark still - but not as bad as the pure darkness that is the L3000.
  13. you mean i'm supposed to plug it in? argh! no wonder my dac is so jittery!
  14. I'll agree with that. When I post on the boards it's to dish dirt. But when it's music time? That's what the rig is for and it's doing its job on my ears!
  15. Lan took one look at how crazy the TT was hooked up all over the Melos board and said "funk that." I admit, I rarely hear it anymore, and then only sporadically when there's no music on and I'm trying to hone in on it. I guess I can live with that.
  16. i use optical just because i like the shiny red light. no joke - i dunno crap about jitter, but the end result is sounding good so far!
  17. wow i wish i had this for head-fi too! it's cool that it shows my shame - "Music 0.80%" - i guess i know why i really am here - it ain't the music!
  18. on the sidewalk, yes. on the can, no.
  19. I remember taking AP Music theory and getting a 2 or 3 or something - we had to compose a song based on a Robert Frost poem on the spot and I think mine came out sounding like "Bizarre Love Triangle" hehe!
  20. Very Tim Burton meets Alfred Hitchcock. Let's go with that one!
  21. i would if the blackberry wasn't so damn slow!
  22. i think the big diff there is that the linksys has coax and optical outputs while the airport has just a mini toslink optical out. i don't remember if it has analog rcas out too (i think it does) but why bother since it's just going to be bypassed for an external dac, right?
  23. and just like 2000 in the world series for the Mets, and, hmm, forever except for one shining day in beantown, it's those damn yankees that crush em! argh! at least i get to giggle about the team that crushed my poor Phillies - stupid toronto.
  24. bah they started Lima instead. heilman is stuck in the pen i tell you - STUCK!
  25. Post replied to Nanoha's topic in Headphones
yeah no joke - we blasted some bootleg Arturo Sandoval through it, even some Pet Sounds, and we couldn't believe it.
