    Great Video

*runs off to erase info on the "who are you" thread...* What happens in the Casino, stays in the Casino, right guys? Right? Uhhh...guys? :'(
  2. Ok, I'll leave the LP alone. But what about the Guild JF30? It's a good guitar, but it's no Martin. If I managed to sell it, then use the cash plus some more to upgrade to a Martin...ah forget it. I'll let it rot under there. No one is going to dowgrade a Martin for a Guild plus cash - and where would I get the "plus cash" anyhow? Best let sleeping axes lie.

  6. That's my guess!
  7. i'm operating in a vacuum. someone give me the skinny!
  8. no one's going to want my crap then - it's all in 256 VBR AAC!
  9. Borderline worksafe indeed! Yow!
  10. Here's one for Edwood - and she's in roleplay too. You know you're into that!
  11. So I realized that my LP Custom and Guid JF30 are just rotting under the bed, so I was thinking of getting cans for them at first, then I thought "hey, why not do a 2-fer and see if anyone might trade these two for one stompin' dreadnaught?" So I find a 1970's Martin D-41 and the guy might do it... Uh oh. Gear Acquisition Syndrome in effect!
  12. absolutely, balanced RS-1s are some of the best cans i've ever heard (coming out of a singlepower sds-xlr, but i'm sure looking forward to the GS-X's take on it!)
  13. i love my AE-1, but the lack of crossfeed means i keep The Beatles and a ton of jazz at home - which is fine, there's plenty more music to listen to on the go! and SQ-wise, the AE-1 destroys my friend's SM.
  14. since you have a K1000 and a RS-1, i look forward to your impressions of such different cans through this amp!
  15. i found that my oneac 1103 was fine with just the toshiba 3960 plugged into it, but it smashed the dynamics of my Solo amp. in the end, it was too impractical to have that in the chain just for one item, and stuffing up an entire half of a wall outlet. the Monster HTS3500 works much better since all the dynamics come through nice and clear and i can plug max units into it with no discernable degradation of SQ.
  16. are you telling me i got "crying game"d? DAMN NAZIS!
  17. what's with all this nazi talk bumping the babe thread from the top? looks like i'll have to reach out to everyone here... Heil Hotness!
  18. no doubt on the apogee minidac man. 1911 is rockin' to his new PS-1s with it and he hasn't called me in a week - which means those cans are on his head like glue!
  19. mjg showin' the latina lovin'. i'm down with that.
  20. There we go. And I'd put her under "supercute" too!
  21. Dangit, blocked from work! link me something useful!
  22. I am very saddened by the fact that this thread only has one actual human linked in it so far as a portrayal of what is cute/supercute. And it's by me. Stop hugging Toroidal Transformers and post something up (that is work safe) or I'm taking her back! You know I'm hard up over here without head-fi, so I gotta get my rocks off during the day somehow!
  23. lucky for me, my old portable dvd player wasn't carried by BB anymore, so they just told me to grab something off the shelves - can you say upgrade from a polaroid dvd player to a Panasonic? score!
  24. she just said "you're calling me at work for this? do you have one already? then what's that thing under the shelf? you have to get rid of that before you get this new one!" in other words, I think we found The Sloth's new conditioner. :'(
  25. i just calculated S&H, he can ship it for $19.12, not bad at all. now the big hurdle - asking the wife.
