So I realized that my LP Custom and Guid JF30 are just rotting under the bed, so I was thinking of getting cans for them at first, then I thought "hey, why not do a 2-fer and see if anyone might trade these two for one stompin' dreadnaught?" So I find a 1970's Martin D-41 and the guy might do it... Uh oh. Gear Acquisition Syndrome in effect!

absolutely, balanced RS-1s are some of the best cans i've ever heard (coming out of a singlepower sds-xlr, but i'm sure looking forward to the GS-X's take on it!)

i love my AE-1, but the lack of crossfeed means i keep The Beatles and a ton of jazz at home - which is fine, there's plenty more music to listen to on the go! and SQ-wise, the AE-1 destroys my friend's SM.

since you have a K1000 and a RS-1, i look forward to your impressions of such different cans through this amp!

i found that my oneac 1103 was fine with just the toshiba 3960 plugged into it, but it smashed the dynamics of my Solo amp. in the end, it was too impractical to have that in the chain just for one item, and stuffing up an entire half of a wall outlet. the Monster HTS3500 works much better since all the dynamics come through nice and clear and i can plug max units into it with no discernable degradation of SQ.
