  1. Ministry - From Beer To Eternity. Needed some nice noise at work. Still funny to think these guys came out with the alt-dance hits "Halloween" and "All Day"
  2. Happy Birthday Milos!
  3. What a game last night with Detroit & Tampa. I'm actually disliking Detroit a little more now, they do SO much borderline crap JUST enough to not get called most of the time but still influence play (setting loose picks/obstruction, holding sticks, etc.). A lot of talent and well-coached for the most part, but in the end I'm glad Tampa won. Will be interesting to see if Babcock leaves....he'll be in high demand if so. On to round two! No specific hopes for me for winners, other than #anyonebutthehabs
  4. XLR-RCA adapters.....
  5. ^^^ Agreed, on here as as well as postjack's forum
  6. Congrats to the Caps, and awesome try Isles....but again, for most of the game Washington dominated play and zone time. Dan, I think you're right, they likely have some good times ahead I only wish the Caps were playing Montreal next, would love to see their speed and heavy hitting knock the Habs around and out! And BTW, good luck to Tampa Bay in game 7! My nephew will get at least one more home game.
  7. Pretty sure I have this somewhere, will need to search for it and listen again. I generally like to try out many female vox I see..... EDIT: looked her up, I remember now. Was pretty good stuff, reminded me of a nice mix between the sultriness of Diana Krall and the liveliness and fun of Jane Monheit.
  8. Happy Birthday Ryan!
  9. Good luck and enjoy, Tom!
  10. Rinse. Repeat. Smile. Have to tip my hat to the Pen's, though. As much as I don't like them, they looked a lot better this year than in years past. It's odd that they lost in round one, an early exit for them; but even in doing so, I thought they fought harder against a very good Rangers team. Every game was a close one. In past years, i think this effort would have brought them farther along. Now, I would LOVE to see the Senator's knock off Montreal; doubtful, but one can hope.
  11. Wow, I didn't watch much of the game, but based on the bit I DID see, i thought the Hawks were looking pretty good/solid. Will need to check out the highlights now....
  12. Caps are just WAY too strong & fast.....poor Isles just collapsed.....
  13. Damn, there go the plans for my Chinese Funeral!
  14. Agreed, at least on the dad is looking great part! Such a great way to spend time, Al!
  15. I think I like "Live Seeds" the most....Murder Ballads a close second for studio recordings
  16. Good to hear, Grant, hopefully the "details" are all simple enough.
  17. Thank you Senators and Rangers!
  18. Even though they've bent the Bruins over recently, I don'thate the Caps. But still want the Isles to win.... #anyonebuthabsandpens
  19. I may look at those ATH-MSR7's at some point......while I like the B&W P5-S2 enough sound-wise, and it isolates well enough, my aforementioned comfort issues keep me lightly spying other options. EDIT: dang, I should pull out my old re-cabled Senn 280's. Old enough that the clamping isn't bad, isolate like the dickens, and remember thinking the sound wasn't as bad (artificial highs) as some thought.
  20. Happy Birthday!
  21. That's the Capitals team that kicked butt on the Bruins all season. Some screw-ups (credit to Isles, too) but a good fast & physical game.
  22. Agree with Jacob, I picked up a used P5-S2 for work. Only complaint is fit, the way they rub on my ears. It's good for a while but I do feel like I need to remove them for a spell. Sound is pretty decent, though I thought the Senn 600 was clearly better. Senn's just didn't isolate much at all.
  23. Agreed, and Pittsburgh looked pretty good in the 2nd and 3rd; we'll see if Fleury skips his post-season meltdown. They may make this a series, but still hope the Rangers win out. Rooting for the Jets, too, Iain. Just like them as a team, like the fans I've seen online, and happy they are in the playoffs.
  24. Yup....from Holland on down, they've reinvented themselves into a great organization! They used to be a lot like the Bruins, bad ownership and management that didn't seem to care about the sport. Both teams changed that, but the Hawks still do it among the best in the league. Bruins....not as good..... EDIT: woops, meant Bowman on down. Holland is Detroit, and their model is also one of the best IMO......
  25. Chicago....wow. I didn't watch the game with Nashville, but saw some highlights. I kind of like Nashville as the "new kid on the block" and all, but damn is Chicago good, they just keep fighting. They may be in cap trouble next year with Kane and Toews making such huge $, but they really know how to build a team.....
