X2, I've always thought Frank Zappa's tone was interesting and unique. Muse, Paco de Lucia, Alan Holdsworth, etc.

Happy Birthday/Easter!!

Norah Jones - Come Away With Me vinyl

Room treatment is VERY important. I had to become an expert in acoustics when I was trying to get a square room to work. I ended up using a diagonal set up in the end, but in the mean time my obsession caused me to read books, articles, etc. I'm glad because I know feel like I can tweak a room by ear and know exactly where to place everything. An untreated room with some bad dimensions can take a solid set up and make it almost un-listenable. Room acoustics are THAT important.

Sorry a noob question, but how do I connect my concert hall to my preamp?

Band of Brothers is great.

B&J is the best. I used to go for Heath exclusively. Lately, it's been chocolate fudge brownie.

Isn't it like $3K for new drivers, recable, tune up, etc. Basically, the works on top of the $1,500 or so for the HP-2s? I think John's excessive mark up tactics are rubbing off on Joe - as much as I'd like the idea of an upgraded HP-2 with new drivers, it's a bit over the top in price.

Guns N' Roses - Chinese Democracy Redbook

^ This is fact. Preference should be ignored in this case. There's a very noticeable different from the UW bandwith cable vs the standard to my ears.
