  2. This pretty much guarantees I'll never get this thing (not that I was in a market for one).
  3. My RBs (and Pats D/ST) suck donkey's balls.
  4. I suspect being a dealer/reseller is easier and more profitable.
  5. Just saw this now - I must've skipped over an entire page of this thread. Congrats, Steve and those are damn sexy.

  7. I tried it earlier in the day, though I don't remember when. I was just bit puzzled since when I tried to apply the code, it told me that I've already used it as opposed to telling me the code is invalid as they've done in the past when I tried to use expired codes.
  8. Tried to use the code and it told me that I've already used it, which is weird since I haven't bought anything from Newegg in the last 6 months or so. I'll probably still get one, though.
  9. Bought a Canon SD1300IS about a week ago to replace wife's old P&S that's been missing for couple of months. Predictably, I found the missing P&S yesterday. I'll probably be installing CHDK Wiki onto the old P&S.
  10. What's wrong with them?
  11. Probably has something to do with the fact that EF mount is relatively new, compared to F mount.

14mm pancake really seems like an odd option.

    ^ I wonder how far the price of GF-1 will drop now. Considering how often I shoot with just 35mm, I wouldn't mind a cheap GF1 w/ 20mm f/1.7.
  14. ^ That sucks. Are you going to try out different copies (or 85LII)?
  15. Nice - one of the Canon rep at a Canon workshop I attended had one and she kept gushing about it. My next lens will probably be a better 50mm, after playing around with a nifty fifty. I'm hoping to try out a Sigma 50, but been either too busy or lazy to drive down to a one of the local Hunt's.
  16. Ah, that's too bad about D7000. As for 7D, I'm still kicking myself for not going for it when I got 50D as the price difference wasn't all that big at the time. Oh well, I guess I'll just save up for FF.
  17. I just realized that I added a wrong D/ST this week off of the waiver. This is what happens when I don't double-check what I'm doing.
  18. Tell me about it. Congrats on 7D, btw. What was the QC issue with D7000? I stopped reading about D7000 since I know I'm not moving to Nikon at this point.
  19. The discussion reminds me of a guy that lived on the same floor at the college. His name was Phuc.
  20. I received one of these with mine. Wax Tool - $3.00 : JH Audio | Store

  22. Another problem I see with color E-ink is the cost. I suspect having a color e-ink will push well past the impulse-buy price range for most people.
