Argh. It appears S90 is not in the Canon Loyalty Program, which means I'd have to pay for a full refurb price (comes out to ~$320 when you add in Franiec's grip & Lensmate control dial solution). At that price point, it's getting too close to the price of a new S95 alone (better control dial, matte finish to help with the grip) and over what wife wanted to spend on a P&S we won't be using all that much.

Just get one. Don't you still have a DAC or two to help you fund it?

Dang, that is pretty good. I guess P&S has come a long way in the last few years.

Was that shot with RAW then converted or straight JPEG from camera?

I think I'm going to grab a refurbed S90 for my wife (and for me to use when carrying around 50D is too inconvenient). Can't really beat $224 for it.

Had a meeting free day at work, which should translate to a productive day, though that hasn't been the case so far for variety of reasons. Also found out that as a part of cost cutting, they most likely won't be replacing the malfunctioning printer in our office (along with most of the in-office printers) - this after they've been telling us we'll get a new one Real Soon Now™. I'm wondering how much money they'll be saving when the three big printers/copiers break-down with increased frequency from seeing 90% of the printing/copying.

Anyone else having problem with scoreboard (and scoring update) on ESPN? Mine's doing weird things, like one player having receiving yards but no receptions while other players' stats are not updating at all.

Agreed and I understand that in university/school setting it wouldn't be a good thing. I was mostly interested from purely a technical stand point.
