  1. How about you spare us with your thoughts on this subject altogether? Most here could give a rat's ass about a post of complete nothingness such as yours. I edited this post to add a line between your quote and my statement. Even that had more substance than your first post.
  2. You know NwAvGuy got his nuts roasted over stuff like this, don't you?
  3. Entertainment is fine. Pathetic drama on the other hand...
  4. Here's the whole show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECBYax5Tqdg Bittersweet to say the least. Dimeadozen has the FLAC version up already.
  5. Well, the first show went on without Bill. They sound great, all things considered. Ozzy sound sounds remarkable, but it is only one show. If his voice is on, the show will always kill. God bless Tony, NOBODY will ever beat his live tone. Him and Geezer are the real draw at this point. Tommy Clufetos, while still doing a good job, was not Bill. It's not that Bill is a virtuoso, but he had a certain sound that went so well with Sabbath that nobody ever matched.
  6. You may be right in the end, since nothing is ever as it seems in the music industry. I am so damn turned off by the whole thing, I barely care anymore.
  7. Apparently, Geezer has made a public statement: http://www.geezerbutler.com/2012/05/heavy-heart/ Although I am obviously on the outside looking in, I am still with Bill on this. His side is more complete and makes more sense, even if it is a bit melodramatic. Geezer's looks more like parsing words and a bit cold.
  8. Yeah, I get that, but she is a spiteful woman, so I would not put it past her. She is not beyond reproach. I also get that Bill is not in the best health, but they are only three dates, and they are weeks apart. People want to see all four together. Perfection (or even a level that once was) is obviously forgiven in this case, otherwise Ozzy would not be allowed on stage
  9. Jesus Christ! It's pathetic that three grown men cannot tell their management to kill themselves and let Bill play. This reeks of Sharon's tactics; I do not care what anyone says. http://www.billward.com/2012/05/statement-on-upcoming-black-sabbath-shows/ They are going through great pains to ruin their legacy.
  10. Yep, once I heard my first Grado, nothing else did it for me. They are not the last word on just about anything, but they are damn fun, and that's all that matters to me.
  11. Appropriate emoticons that follow the last part to show true intent are as follows: Because right now, I'm all:
  12. As I was saying in the "Paint It Black" thread, I VERY much recommend the album "Skylight" from Atoma. Easy to listen to atmospheric metal. It was love at first listen to me, and that is saying a LOT.
  13. Atoma - Skylight Though not what I call "dark", I cannot remember the last time I have come across an album that is as fun to listen to as this. Great melodies, great musical dynamics (for the love of Christ, do not look at the wavforms!), and I am a SUCKER for synths. This album is crying out to be played on floorstanders! Want to know what it sounds like? The album cover gives you a good idea. Pay attention to the gradual change in the album from the beginning to end. What a great flow. This is good stuff! I cannot recommend this highly enough!
  14. Mine too. Both great tracks. This album is really growing on me. I really like it a lot.
  15. Alright, I just gave Storm Corrosion a full run though. I would not put it on the same level as Grace For Drowning (Deform... and Postcard alone easily put that album over this), but it is a very good album and a vast improvement over Heritage. It is a great blend of ambient, progressive rock, and folk that really sound great late at night. It's going to need at least a few more listens to fully click with me though. Oh, and the sound quality is glorious. It's going to sound goooooood on floorstanding speakers.
  16. Jordan, great to see you here! I would totally see DCD if I was not out of the country when they are scheduled to come by my neck of the woods. I will see what I can do to update this thread soon.
  17. Yeah, I did not have a chance to give it a good listen yet. I will try tonight and report back.
