  1. Just get two of the 24" dell's.
  2. they're only $20 so don't expect them to have much long-term reliability. you could always pay a ton more and get something from plextor but i've had pretty good luck with stuff from lite-on and lg.
  3. Yeah I hope to compare it to my apl 3910 at some point but it won't be easy. The 9100es is upstairs in my stax rig and the apl is downstairs in the speaker rig.
  4. modwright 9100es arrived today finally. pics and such will have to wait till tomorrow
  5. I wonder if it's just a balanced version of the 9100es. Not a bad thing really just seems like a strange time. Why not do a pricey ES line blu-ray/sacd player?
  6. Not really, if any other routers require software to be installed to setup and configure them then they also are more difficult to work with.
  7. The fact that the Airport's require software to be installed to configure instead of having a web interface makes them worse to work with IMO.
  8. yes but check very carefully which version of the wrt54g you have. linksys has really neutered the hardware on the more recent versions, so much so that most of the 3rd party firmware can't run on them. it'll show the version # on the bottom of the router right by the serial #.
  9. Which ones do you have? I have the vantec one, never had a problem with it.
  10. Restarting the cable modem will usually fix that. When you change what device is hooked up to the modem is always a good idea to restart the modem.
  11. Is the router getting an IP from the cable modem? Should be listed somewhere on the WAN status page.
  12. well they do completely nuke the stock output stage and replace it with a nice transformer coupled tube output stage.
  13. no digital input on the ear acute as far as i know, remember it's just a re-badged/rebuilt arcam player.
  14. 7236's should be fine they have pretty much identical specs as the 6080 and 5998. They might have a different amplification factor though. I actually kinda the look of this amp, but yeah I have to question how they ever thought they could get away with just passive cooling in a case that small. There's a lot of watts that need dissipated in that thing.
  15. It shouldn't be too hard for your Uncle to find out for sure, just have him randomly call clients.
  16. yeah i wasn't magically guessing and doubling the specs for fun, i have owned them for quite a while now and yeah the model # for the ice power module in question is 1000ASP
  17. yes they are, those ice power modules are 500W into 8ohm 1000W into 4ohm.
  18. I guess if you really care about the case work you could get those or get the d-sonic for $975
  19. Your going to need a separate A/C unit to keep that room cool .
  20. We'd need a different angle of the sylvania to know for sure if the NE's are just rebranded sylvania's. Wouldn't surprise me if they were.
  21. You should be fine it takes a pretty darm strong magnetic field to kill hd's and other electronic devices. I really wouldn't worry about it at all.
  22. not going to mention the fact that when you sent your laptop in for repair they sent it back with parts missing?
  23. tkam replied to jinp6301's topic in Sports Talk
Usain Bolt just won gold in the 200m and set a new world record 19.30.
  24. Good luck hopefully she misses you
  25. Any interest in setting up a head-case fantasy football league? I'd likely just create a league through espn's fantasy football unless someone has a better idea.
