When the Sony remote is in RCVR mode it's only controlling the apl electronics, the DVD mode should have been programmed already to control the denon's basic playback functions. Thats how my remote is at least.

My apl denon 3910 arrived today, early impressions are extremely positive, it might be the best digital I've heard. I've attached some pics, including some internal shots. Some of the pcb and parts added are mounted in what I'd call a questionable fashion using some sort of epoxy looking material. It does sound really fantastic though.

I'd go for the Denon D2000 over the DT770 any day. Now that the D2000s price has dropped quite significantly I actually think they are a pretty good deal for the money. Unless you'd be willing try IEM's then I think you could do a lot better sound quality wise.

Your 8800gts probably has a lifetime warranty, why not take advantage of it?

I've been happy with my 24" dell.

ram is ram, no matter what brand your buying there's only about 3 or 4 companies that make the actual memory chips. besides most ram these days has a lifetime warranty and the rma processes with the bigger brands are pretty painless. corsair, kingston, crucial are the biggest ones that come to my mind.

I bought a memory foam pillow at the same time as my new mattress from The Original Mattress Factory. I'll have to check the brand name on the pillow later but it's very comfy.

While I really do enjoy the O2+KGSS rig if you have the space for a good speaker rig it's not even close really.
