Now that I've owned them a little awhile I think what strikes me the most is how well they handle all genres of music.

ok so i played a few more hours of this tonight, everyone with a ps3 go buy it right now. this is very easily the game of the year so far. this is the console selling game that sony had been waiting for.

You really don't need a 750W power supply for a single 8800gt you'd be fine with a 500-600W psu. To avoid having to use any power adapters, just make sure whatever psu you go with has the pci-express power connectors (either 6 or 8 pin).

From what I can see the dac1 pre is just the dac1 usb + analog inputs

Picked up MGS4 today, it's pretty awesome so far.

A dac1 thats warm? Unless the dac1 pre is significantly different than previous dac1's I'd have to question his definition of "warm". I don't think the dac1 is a bad dac, I just find it to be bright and at times thin.
