What are you drinking now, pt 2.
2008 Blackbird Vineyards Arise. An interesting Cabernet, Merlot Cabernet Franc blend similar to the Justin Isosceles blend so it should be good, getting used to the fruit signature. Won't go well with the chicken marsala but will go well with the sunset. Cheers all!

Congrats nate and family and welcome Andrew!

Finished off the LaJota Cabernet and since I read a nice article on Ports decided to crack open a Jecklin Port that was given to me three Easters ago----- Nice color, strange bouquet of tire and hubcaps. Not bad, sort of like Port with training wheels; nice starter on your way to a 2007 Dow or a 1994 Quinta do Noval.

Very cool looking Vicki, I need to see my optometrist for a tune up and to update my dorky glasses so these are just what I need to get me back into stylin' mode.

Only if it is good champagne. What is it Dinny? 2008 Signorello Seta; Semillon is overpowering the Sauvignon Blanc but it is tasty nonetheless. For those who like a nice acid pop, this does it. Would go well with a poached tuna and olives, chilean sea bass with a terriyaki sauce or a lot of sauce based chinese food. Colin should try this with his next chinese food dinner. Going to take in the sunset now.

Sorry for your flight troubles Dusty but you know depending on your airline's equipment if the pilot throttles up full speed he will accomplish two things- 1) The faster the plane flies the more fuel is consumed and 2) If the plane flies really really fast it can travel back into time and make up for the delays they caused you, perhaps even land in Denver before you took off in DC. I know this is possible because I saw it in a Twilight Zone episode a few years back.

I just googled the price of the Pedras, for 35-$40 dollars this is a really good Cab. After an hour or so it has really opened up, the charcoal and leather has given way to a nice fruit layer and the edgyness has smoothed out. You should check this out and at $35 a pretty good deal!
