I have been out of commission for the past two months with life/family things but finally put in a 44 miler with some decent climbs. I need to check the route but at least 1k of climbing and 8-10% grades. My friend brought his daughter's 26 year old boyfriend along who kept the pace pretty high, friggin' kids. I am very tired now and need my nappy time.

Norte Dame beats Detroit 9-7 in the NCAA first round finals wooohoo! Next up is Duke this weekend, fingers crossed. You guys were not kidding about Cicero, yeeeeesh. Staying in the Mag Mile was definitely the better choice and we had a great meal while discovering a pretty good Nebiolo in the process. Just downloaded my boarding pass for my Southwest airlines flight to Chi Town tomorrow. Nothing like spending Friday and Saturday morning packing up the belongings of a college daughter, half of which I will transport to a South Bend storage unit. Too bad I can't visit any of the 3Floyds that I will be passing while driving from the airport to South Bend. Maybe we can find a nice restaurant around the Magnificent Mile to explore Saturday evening.
