  1. I was going to mention the employees, etc., but I did a quick search and it appears that AV123 has been stiffing its suppliers, and also seemed that a number of people did not get their product as well. Mind you this was a QUICK search, so I may have missed a lot.
  2. I have the 324 work center, minus the solder iron holder, which I bought off of ebay. I never have bought any other heads for it; still use a helping hands for cable shit (or my bench vise). I dislike the helping hands more everytime I use them The Panavise Jr. looks nice, if you can live with its limitations.
  3. Nice Nate! What are DROs? Digital Readout?
  4. Of course you could.
  5. Pass Aleph P 1.7 preamp (again, though this time I actually have it )
  6. not sure if there is any interest, but ran across these: DODD AUDIO DIY
  7. Ouch, missed that! Congrats Brent!
  8. Congrats Colin!

    Godspeed Naaman!

Glad to see you got there OK. Take care!
  10. For the Adcom, the film caps with long leads is pretty questionable. Better to use a DC coupled discrete stage instead of mucking with opamps and coupling caps. The copper tape shielding is fine, and does appear to be grounded. No idea on the other DAC.
  11. Ehhhh.... best of luck Marc. At least Carly isn't still at HP.
  12. Happy Birthday!

How about getting some cups for the spikes to rest on? Many of the spike manufacturers offer these. I think I had also read of people using coins under the spikes as well.
  14. Anyone else get the following email this weekend/today? modu Case made in Italy by Hi-Fi 2000 We would like our kind customer to know that the Galaxy, Slim and Dissipante series are now available in full aluminium see here modushop.biz and it is already possible to customize them. Click here modushop.biz Modu Staff A bit expensive, more of a jump from the standard pricing than I would have thought. Oh yeah, I got this email 3 times yesterday, and once (so far) today
  15. Good start Not sure WTF you are talking about though. Of course I'm not sure you do either.
  16. Happy Birthday!
  17. Happy Birthday!
  18. You should do a vertical board for the back panel to save chassis footprint, with the Vampire PCB2F/S for single ended and something like the Neutrik NC3MBV-B for the balanced and equivalent female w/o lock tab. You could put the relays right on the board, maybe do 4 balanced/SE inputs, and balanced/SE monitor and pre outs. Muting relays as well.
  19. Yeah, good luck Thrice, and congrats Brent!
  20. I had a problem like this with one from Michael Percy. He suggests conductive grease (the silver bearing stuff). Did the trick, though I would agree, TKD should do something about this.
  21. Just saw this myself. Glad it wasn't more serious, and hope you heal up quickly. Biking or low impact might be a good idea.
  22. Have a Happy Birthday Doug!
  23. ... not supposed to do that at work. Stretch, your humor and communication skills of that amaze me.
  24. Congrats on the new house Marc. Oh, yeah, nice bandsaw also
  25. Sorry for your loss.
