Like you don't on the other site. To the OP, you really need to state your requirements in a portable amp. I'm assuming that you want a portable amp as you mentioned the Pico. Does it need to had a USB Dac? What kind of music do you mostly listen to? What other amps have you heard and liked or disliked? What's your budget? What are your requirement wrt batteries? What about size? My main portable amp is Rockhopper Pimeta. It's powered by a replaceable 9V battery that I can buy anywhere. It's larger than my iPod (the usual source) but works for me. The build quality and sound quality is quite nice. Overall a good amp purchase for ~ $80 USD. Depending on your requirements, something similar to this may work well for you too.

Could you get rid of the sliders on the frames altogether? It's really annoying to have a stack of pictures, with some or all of them being wider than the frame. To see all of a picture, one has to scroll down to the slider, slide the frame and then scroll back up to the desired picture. It's a huge PITA. Just let the browser do the sliding. That way no scrolling is necessary.

I'm close. I finally got around to buying two plane tickets to CanJam. They only cost $20, plus 100K miles. We were originally planning on coming in on Friday, but would get there at 8:01 pm. That's kind of late. So I decided to get there a day early so that we can be social on Friday. Now I just have to change our hotel reservation to match. Hey JP, maybe you could pick us up at FLL and take us to the Thursday night "Beer Dinner"? Actually, I suspect that coming in at 8:01 pm means that we'll be too late to make it.

This was by far the most likely outcome. So when are you sending them?

I'll be happy to drink while I listen so you don't miss everything.

If you'll send that pair to me, I'll break it in and listen to it over the next year. Then we can do a comparison and see if it actually has a problem or just needed some break in.

I get it every time I hear a national level politician speak.

Actually, I think making a side deal with J is more likely to get the upgrades done at CanJam.

The transitions will smooth out with more burn-in. The difference is night and day.

I finally unpacked the old Lafayette tuner that I bought from Miguel Arroyo many months ago. Besides needing a switch box, I need an indoor FM antenna. Can anybody recommend one? I'd like to spend no more than $50. Thanks in advance for your recommendations.

Many. Of course, it depends on your budget and what you like. If you would like, we can talk about it more off line.

Hi Hiroshi. Looks yummy. Where's it from?

Happy Birthday Grawk!

Now we understand why Boomana wanted to get Grawk as a bodyguard!

I fixed your quote for you.

Does that mean that you'll hold on to this equipment twice as long as usual? Say 4-6 months?

The Lakers may or may not actually contend for a championship this year. Between the injuries and the need to rebuild chemistry, it would be difficult. However, they are now positioned to contend for the next 4 or so years. They had already strengthened themselves over the off season and then the kidnapping of Pau pushed them back into the NBA elite. Now I'm looking forward to watching them again.

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Ed

I spent most of my formative years in SoCal so I'm a Laker's fan. For me, this is the first time since the Showtime era that they've been fun to watch. They are actually playing team ball. It's what Phoenix would like to play as it translates better to the playoffs. If Bynum can come back and the chemistry stays, they are a contender this year and have great prospects for the next 3 to 6 years.

Like what, exactly? I saw nothing disturbing at all, just something that was really funny.

Me too. I hope that everything works out well for you. Good luck! We'll all be rooting for you. :prettyprincess:

Yeah, one day a year sounds about right!

I was going to say "Bose", but then realized that would be the ignorant man's Dynaudio drivers. So I'll guess "SEAS".
