  12. dare I ask what sort of specs a scope must have to reliably track this down?
  13. WTF. Can anyone view this post in Tapatalk and confirm that yet another thing is broken now with Tapatalk?
  14. Craig, I'm a bit confused, were you only having the problem in one channel? (from reading the mod it seems this way)
  15. Win!
  16. Gave a talk at a con where attendees are given balls to throw at the speaker at their discretion. I managed to come out unscathed.
  17. 30 years ago I had recently graduated from the 1 bag system
  18. LP mailers, or DIY your own out of sheets of cardboard. Note that one strategy would be to buy more vinyl online and then reuse the mailers you get in the mail
  19. Depends on the amplifier the amplifier is made to drive a target load though, just like a dynamic amplifier has given design constraints and goals. In the case of an ES amp, the load is the primary determiner of FR.
  20. Nice, my wife hoards hers like you would not believe. At some point we had identical colors towels in the bathroom and I accidentally see hers and it wasn't pretty.. I had to lobby to get the colors changed to aid in identification.

  22. .. And I have no idea what a Gin Sidecar is Reks
  23. French Fling, that's pretty nice
  24. very nice!
  25. Jacob: "After some tweaking (and using the values I have around) I've settled on 2k ohm R17-R18 and 1k in series with the pot. I'm using a 20k pot but the usable range wouldn't be much less with 5k." Marc: "My recommendation was R17, R18 = 10K and a 20K pot with a 3.3K series resistor. The two 5K resistors at the feedback point are also changed to 2K" digger945: "1K pot, 1K for series resistor (R62) and 2.2K for R17-R18" Kevin: "One other thing, i forgot to mention is the 5k resistors are now actually 2k on my prototype so as to match the gain between the two different feedback types." Heh, clear as mud.
