I'm fine with that as long as Church is mentioned as well.

?22 as a preamp?
yes, in response to the above two posts there is a quandary on what to do, if you're looking for a true preamp. However, in Steve's case he's planning on using it as a integrated amp, not a true preamp. What about using the beta22 as a preamp into something like a Pass F4? In this case, there isn't any voltage gain in the amp, so it might be a match made in heaven.

?22 as a preamp?
well, more like an integrated amp, but yes I am in agreement. swt61 is planning on trying it out, and this is one of the reasons his beta22 is at my house right now.

while we're on this discussion, take a moment to compare the M3 and ?22 from the data at these links: http://www.amb.org/audio/mmm/rmaa_mmm_8.html http://www.amb.org/audio/beta22/rmaa_beta22_8.htm both are tests results into a 8? load. I won't connect the dots for you, but it's pretty interesting data.- The Great Dac search
heh, I have this reluctance to mod factory terminated cables. Perhaps I need to just sell this cable and make one with the proper terminations........- The Great Dac search

anyone know of a decent quality BNC->RCA adapter?- Wood fans: Cherry vs. Oak
steve: the cubes in my office are made by this fellow, and the custom top is as well. I opted for cherry of course.- Cinemag SUTs
I would agree with the new Tango, but the old ones are very special IMHO. I finally fell in love with the Klyne and Pass phono stages and did away with such things... I hope postjack finds something that works for him!- Cinemag SUTs
