  6. Agreed and agreed.... I think that it is suppose to be confusing... being a mix of old springbank and young springbank... I found that it gave more of an interesting mouth feel of an aged whisky with some of the young harsher notes. When they first made the Springer CV years ago I think that it had a higher % of older casks was nice stuff. Cheers
  7. For me I would probably look for the 50cl bottle of the VEP... Just to have it now and then and share it around.

  9. Okay - a catch up post..... Was down south for a little gathering this weekend... Started out on on Friday with a few good whiskys.... Saturday started out with some brews: Then in the evening we moved onto the whiskys (and some soju) Drove back up North on Monday then had another gathering with another plowed friend: Little tired today....
