  1. And just like that, speedtest.net starts working again! edit: somewhat consistently
  2. Looks like comcast has reset / upgraded their local system - like they were threatening to. Noticed it when Radio Paradise just stopped tonight, and went through the whole turning it off and on again shenanigans (including using google DNS for a while). Before After Speedtest.net is misbehaving, and the San Jose comcast server is saying starting test in 18500 seconds ... So take the above ( esp ping) with a pinch of salt. See if things have changed in the morning
  3. I had a friend who wrote "not this one" on the non target leg.
  4. Jeff you might want to reconsider Uber, If you were in Stockholm, that is. http://www.topgear.com/uk/car-news/Video-Ubers-1000bhp-RS6-cab-2015-05-18 "Now, a super-wide-body RS6 with two blingy 18-karat gold turbochargers that massage the 4.0-litre V8 from 552bhp to a staggering 950-plus bhp is worth a five-star rating in our book" Edit: it even comes with roof storage! http://www.topgear.com/uk/car-news/This-is-a-road-legal-1000bhp-RS6-2015-04-01
  5. Your time is only worth $2.50/hr and gas is free, there and back, right? How is this a problem CJ? /s
  6. Why not get them to build a supercharger at the station? Problem solved and guaranteed rockstar parking? Alternatively, hire a minion whose duty is to charge the car in your absence. They can use the 'frunk' as their quarters.
  7. Isn't that a minion?
  8. So by inference the next purchase is a submarine?
  9. Lewis Doesn't seem to be suffering http://fashion.telegraph.co.uk/columns/bibby-sowray/TMG11629598/Meet-Lewis-Hamiltons-Monaco-model-crew.html
  10. I am a VIP on the free app, so speech to text, and attach pics on android without crashing (unlike Tapatalk pro after android 5.0) [emoji3]
  11. Shelly, are you running a computer without a UPS? Is that a cost / benefit to you? - ability to ride out transient surges / brown outs , shut down safely / cleanly for longer outages , avoid disk failures on hard stops etc. Can be inexpensive (e.g. < $60) http://www.amazon.com/APC-BE550G-Back-UPS-8-outlet-Uninterruptible/dp/B0019804U8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1432677002&sr=8-1&keywords=UPS How much uptime do you want?
  12. And so it continues ... At Tapatalk, we would like to thank you for your loyalty as users of HD and Pro. Moving forward, we are sunsetting both these versions. The Free app is on a continuous development cycle-- HD and Pro are no longer actively supported. More Information. What about ads?! Don't worry: most of you are already VIP, which means you will not see ads on Tapatalk. And the VIP status applies to the free app! If you think you need to add VIP, just head here for information on how to update your status. Please act by July 1st if you choose to do so. Thanks again, and we’re excited to show you what’s coming! Here’s a peek of our new Customized Forum Home:
  13. Stay safe Head-Caser's of Tornado Alley, and elsewhere.
  14. Orange currant scone with orange butter, plus Mango/Bannana/OJ/coconut milk smoothie
  15. Colin, is that you?
  16. Enjoy your virtual car shopping, Jeff. 18. Euro-cheese across the globe. How do you feel about Australia as a member of the EU?
  19. When you add events, do you set a reminder/notification that will show up on a device you have with you? Typically a set of reminder emails at the start or the day works for me - Google is omniscient enough to know when I have to leave my current location to make a given appointment.
  20. Inside the dealership, or car interior? plus obvious Steve feed line

  22. Shelly, don't stress. Use google calendar, or whatever calendaring system works best for your platform/ecosystem of choice. That way you can see what's coming up. Typically you can set reminders to trigger in advance so you know what's coming up / when you have a decision point / time to leave. Beats having to cary a fridge door with you everywhere
  23. Does your household insurance cover the loss of spoiled food, or does the deductible make it moot, Nate? Either way botheration, or unplanned BBQ/feast?
  24. Happy Birthday Brent! Be careful what you wish for!
