So no fractional muffins? Got it.

More "goodies" with the Brits.

@dsavitsk This might be more to your (peer groups) taste, then. https://www.californiapioneers.org/current-exhibition/

So the curse of "over exposure" as it were?

Any particular reason for the hate against someone who defined a genre and it's associated techniques and processes? Or just not the flavour de jour?

Great. All the hits. Made all the more interesting by a docent lead tour. By a passionate, informed, opinionated, "only in SF" docent. They said if they were paying to have their name changed, they were going to get as many letters possible for the money.

Joanne wanted to watch "A Spy Among Friends" , based on the book of the same name. A slow burn, with great acting, as the layers of deception are exposed. It seems that you just can't trust someone you thought of as the right sort of chap. Which segued nicely to another series that involved more class based scandal ("Sex, Lies and Spies" ) in the follow on period. " (available on HBO Max https://www.hbomax.com/series/urn:hbo:series:GX5iQpQtvkYCLtAEAAAPJ ) Plenty going on, Great Acting, and lots of details, where truth is stranger than fiction ... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Profumo_affair as it is says it the opening titles, you couldn't make it up. And in local news ... The De Young Museum in SF is having an exhibition "Ansel Adams in Our Time" https://www.famsf.org/exhibitions/ansel-adams-in-our-time and there is a Zoom docent lecture, on Monday, thanks to the CM/Marin County Library "This online program will be presented by Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco docent Jim Kohn, and is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Corte Madera Library." https://marinlibrary.bibliocommons.com/events/63ed92c93edbd4ffdd6af3c3 I have signed up for the Zoom lecture, (Zoom compression artifacts notwithstanding) as it should be an interesting introduction to the exhibition. Joanne signed up for De Young membership last year, so may be able to get discounted tickets!* EDIT: *Free for us (Joanne +1), discount for "guests" on same visit.

Electronc tag ( aka "ankle bracelet" ) "Some prisoners can be released early. This allows them to live at home and to work during the final weeks of their sentence. They will be given an electronic tag, which is a small device fitted to the ankle or wrist. Tagging is a way of monitoring where you are and how you keep to your tagging conditions. Maybe." https://www.politico.eu/article/finland-sauna-culture-diplomacy-brussels/ but which level? "I remember visiting the Finnish embassy and them telling us about how they had three in their two buildings, a diplomatic sauna, a general sauna, and a sauna for the higher ups. You could definitely tell they were a little bit obsessed with it."

^Golden Gate Park? Went for a stroll around King Mountain with Joanne and some of the ladies from her book club. Weather was nice, after all the rain, as were the views. And the wildlife. Played "guess the price" with them on the following properties. When a $5M miss is "close enough" http://www.kingmountainestate.com/ https://www.70ridgecrest.com/ I even managed to find the property video from 8 years ago when it was "only" a $2.2M tear down.
