That would make sense, he certainly used some other effects in that scene alone.

Gilmour appears to be singing the high lead melody during that first slow section -- I didn't know that! And I didn't know he could sing that high.

Love Ólafur and Nils, thanks for posting.

Yes, they tend not to have extremely low (amplitude) resonances and attenuate vibrations.

Thanks, everyone! It was an enjoyable day. I took a 4 day weekend, so I did what I usually do on my birthday: nothing! I had a big deployment last Wednesday, and one of the guys fucked it up Thursday morning, so I spent most of Thursday doubting myself and reconsidering taking any time off, but I figured it out at the end of the day, and my confidence in myself was restored, so I returned to my natural state: giddy with pride and full of myself.

Lamb Vindaloo. It’s delicious, but should be hotter.

Loved the graphic novel, loved the movie, definitely looking forward to the series.

I must’ve been in the right mood for it, I loved it. Really good choice for the Halloween season. It makes no sense whatsoever, but at least they don’t try to explain it with fake science. Now I have to see the Critters movies. (Also done by Chioto.). He also did the puppeteering in Team America: World Police.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space — campy fun, and the animatronics is surprisingly good. I just saw a Killer Klown switch from silly grin to maniacal.

I wish I could do this (left as an exercise for the reader whether I mean retract my neck like the seal, or if I could push on a seal's nose and have it retract its head like the woman): -

Happy belated birthday! (party favour noise)

I am definitely a bigger Cure fan, but I’ve never seen them live. That said, Johnny Marr is a fochin’ genius.

Happy almost belated birthday, Iain! (fuzzed out party favour noise)

I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that’s for muggle visitors.

Egad, I have this series on DVD. Jimmy Kimmel’s roots.

Also, what happened to Steve's first post?

"Whoopie Cat breaks barriers of musical nuances by molding together the characteristics of progressive rock and heavy blues; married with heart wrenching vocals. They infuse soulful lyrics with rich melodious vocal harmonies to create a warm and melancholic atmosphere that will captivate and consume the listener." Exemplified in this one, beautiful song. It's got kind of a gospel-ly bent to it. https://whoopiecat.bandcamp.com/track/tell-me-youll-stay

It makes more sense if you read the rest of what she said. Highlights: I’ve said it myself, when talking about hipocracy, “such is the duality of human nature.”
