  1. That was either you auditioning for greeter or accusing me of being one -- I am by no means the official greeter, I'd probably just turn 90% of everyone away. Even at Wal-Mart, I'd be like, "no, no, Wal-Mart is not meant for you..."
  2. Cheers, Adam. Steve, thanks for doing that. We should make you the official head-case greeter or something.
  3. Have you done any YouTube videos? If so, I'd love to see them...channel?
  4. Actually, we're right on the line between snow and rain...so...slush, basically.
  5. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that this was copied and pasted from elsewhere. Please don't. We don't like helping others like they do at super audio best friends or head-fi. In fact, most of us cringe at the prospect of helping complete strangers.
  6. Happy birthday! (party favour noise)
  7. It does kinda have that same floating on top of the head look, don't it? Sent from my mind using id, ego, or superego...
  8. A hearty, "that was fun". It was nice seeing those that I saw, sorry I missed those I missed, and it was nice to meet the people I met for the first time. No-one said anything about my haircut, though.
  9. They could. I'm sure someone does. Sent from my mind using id, ego, or superego...
  10. Jeremy Bible, Music for Black Holes -- pure, unadulterated, drone ambient. The shortest track is 9:18, and there are 15 of them, for a sound bath of more than 3 hours @ 24/88.2.
  11. Hey, @jp11801 -- what was that Sony box that you were telling Dinny about, was it this: http://www.head-fi.org/t/815841/new-sony-nw-wm1z-wm1a-flagship-hi-end-dap
  12. Despite Brent's biscuit, I am safely home, and I found a hairball, but no more vomit, so all is well in Chez Chalk. I even got some sleep in the train.
  13. Yes, no custom ear molds with the HD800S. Sent from my mind using id, ego, or superego...
  14. I am safely boarded on return train. Sent from my mind using id, ego, or superego...
  15. Dusty got his NY Ramen, Dusty happy. Sent from my mind using id, ego, or superego...
  16. One thing I'm noticing, the beerdouchery in New York is...uh...different -- not better, not worse, just...uh...more New York-y -- than the beerdouchery in San Francisco. Sent from my mind using id, ego, or superego...
  17. Ramen is no joke -- serious business! Sent from my mind using id, ego, or superego... Lollers, I went straight to Pony Bar, that was a no-brainer. Sent from my mind using id, ego, or superego...
  18. Which hotel, canjam? Sent from my mind using id, ego, or superego... And if so, which one is that? Sent from my mind using id, ego, or superego...

  21. On track...er, I mean train...my cat, Bobby, threw up right after breakfast, so I won't be spending the night, I plan on taking the red-eye back (3am, so still plenty of time for shenanigans). Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  22. Is it cold up there? I'll dress in layers. My train arrives Penn Station 4:50-ish.
  23. You need to start quoting M*A*S*H. "I'd like a dry martini [...] a very dry martini. A very dry, arrid, barren, desiccated, veritable dustbowel of a martini. I want a martini that could be declared a disaster area. Mix me just such a martini."
  24. Yup, today's the day! "I've been looking [...for zombie literature...]" "You'll find zombie literature in our lifestyle section, next to the fertility crystals. If you hit witch balls, you've gone too far." "Isn't that always the case?"
